About Carrie Drovdlic

A working voice actor for almost a decade, I've voiced characters for games, animation, and audiodramas ranging from energetic kids to grounded adults to unhinged old ladies. I pull from my performance background, classical voice training, my decade as a freelance writer, and my time as a bench scientist to bring authenticity to my performances.

I'm a natural Midwest GenXer with a mid-pitch, feminine, relatable voice, AND a three octave range to pull from for kids, creatures, and (lots) of old ladies. I'm highly skilled in most American accents, particularly MidWest, NY, Pittsburgh, mid-Southern, deep Southern, Southwestern, and Californian. I'm proficient in Mid-Atlantic, Trans-Atlantic, British RP and heightened RP, Yorkshire, Scottish, Eastern European, and German.

I love digging into a gritty grounded performance, but I also love over-the-top animation reads and I'm not afraid of yelling and screaming when needed. I'm highly skilled in script analysis and facilitate acting workshops for videogame characters.

Carrie and I both learned from the same guy. She's dedicated to the VO world and produces high quality audio. If you need a female voice, she's the one!
