Hey there! My name is Johncarlo Zani (he/him), I'm a 27-year-old Italian-American actor living in New York. From ever since I can remember I've been playing and experimenting with my voice in order to step into different characters that I would hear across movies, television shows, and especially animation and video games. At one point, I even started coming up with them on my own! Combine that with discovering a love for theatre and acting, and you've got yourself one potentially deadly combo. I am a firm believer in the power of storytelling and see acting as a way to unlock the secrets of life itself. As the great Stella Adler once said, "Growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous."
In recent years, aside from acting, I've found myself doing a lot of on-set production work, getting practical experience and insight from inside the entertainment industry. I've most recently graduated from the Stella Adler Professional Conservatory in NYC– feel free to take a look at my industry showcase page (linked below). No set rate as of now, but I'm happy to discuss it! I believe artists should be compensated fairly for their time and effort.
Currently looking to spread out across the breadth of the voiceover landscape, with my ultimate passion and goal would be to focus on animation and video games. For the time being I am interested in work that will allow me the chance to continue growing in my craft. Commercial, animation, video game, dubbing, ADR, audiobook, etc. The aim is to get real experience from real projects in order to hone my skills in acting and VO, and CCC provides precisely the opportunities to do that.
