Jared Brock

At the moment, Jared is primarily looking for VA credits, and would love to pitch in on your project!

Jared runs JaredTakesTime, a YouTube Channel full of video game reviews, vlogs, video essays, and more! He’s written and produced videos on a bunch of things from video games like Star of Providence and Felvidek, to deep dives on the Professional Wrestling business. To paraphrase Walt Whitman, "His interests contain multitudes!"

Jared’s worked as a UX Designer and Senior Consultant. He also volunteers as a Social Media Manager and Writer for veterans advocacy groups and local political organizations.

FUN FACTS ABOUT JARED:

• Jared's an FSU-trained Writer, Editor, Actor, and went to Northwest Florida State College on a Technical Theatre Scholarship. He has Backstage and Casting Call Club Profiles that detail his Performing Arts experience.​

• Jared doesn’t fast-travel in video games. Not because he’s cool, but because he likes to suffer.​

• He is a proud member of the PSANWF (Production Services Association of Northwest Florida) and is local to Fort Walton Beach, Florida. 

• His High School, Wellington High School, became a Fine Arts Academy the year he graduated, which he is immensely proud of. Go Wolverines!

• Jared is a Chamber Singer, performing as a Bass II and Featured Soloist for the Madrigal Singers of Northwest Florida State College, and a featured Soloist and Dancer in their Show Choir program. 

• He's also training to be a Professional Wrestler. To answer you, yes, it really does hurt!

• Jared has had positive comments/retweets on his videos from Hank Green, John Green, Yahtzee Croshaw, and Videogamedunkey. If he gets a NorthernLion shoutout, he'll call the YouTube channel an outright success.

• Jared is a Nerdfighter, and subsequently, a fan of AFC Wimbledon. DFTBA!
