Jackson Desorcy

My name is Jackson Desorcy. I am a 22 year old indie cartoonist who is based in Rhode Island. I first became known online through YouTube as someone who posts animations along with some other types of videos. My earliest known series’ on that platform were Ivy Gets Grounded, a series based on the retired LEGO Mixels toyline and the cancelled horror series pinnedle.mov.

Outside of YouTube, I am known on the art sharing website DeviantArt as well as the social media platforms Reddit, Instagram and Discord for my series of original character creations, among other art. These include the two groups known as Blinky and Friends, a 1930's rubberhose styled group, and Kingdom of Anipals, featuring more cutesy styled characters consisting mostly of the titular race known as Anipals. I have also created the undead elementary school art teacher Arcene the Coloring Ghost as well as my autistic stand alone character known as Simon Sim, based on the organization known as Skills in Motion, co-founded by my mother Jessica Desorcy.

 I was officially diagnosed as autistic back when I was five years old. As of now, I am a proud participating member of the neurodivergent community. Being openly autistic has really helped me make new friends in real life and in person. My best friend is currently Jack Skerry, who I have worked with on several occasions.
