PNW-based with a home studio and all, John has always been seeking the stage since a young age (something something middle child syndrome?) and leverages his business-minded education to propel himself forward into new challenges! He brings an authentic energy to all of his roles, thanks to a naturalistic way of speaking. Fueled by his passion for the art, however, he is always thrilled to take on the big and bombastic roles just as much as the more subtle and natural, so feel free to challenge him! Plus, he can take the heat, so never feel like you cannot be honest in your feedback with him either--every challenge is a chance to learn!
Worked with him for well over a year, plus worked together on creating my first demo reels.
Character-based projects are my bread and butter, but I am always open to taking on new challenges! My wheelhouse is typically more energetic and youthful, with the adult in a mid-low range.

JD Nelson is an incredible person and voice actor. He has a creative mindset like no other. Constantly he is able to bring fresh takes to roles and through his voice acting skills has been able to give truly incredible performances consistently. Not only is he great at receiving direction, but also giving direction and finding interpretations that captivate the listener. Having worked in tandem with him for a year as of the time of writing this, I can vouch for his ability and communication.
