Thomas Hermsen

Hi, I'm Thomas Hermsen (aka IcarusHyde), a voice actor with a love for rich characters, cinematic performances, and immersive storytelling.

My recent work includes voicing Raymond Caluzzo, the main antagonist in the YouTube machinima Fallen Idol, where I brought to life a layered villain with both grit and presence. I'm especially drawn to voice work in animation and video games - whether it’s grounded drama, chaotic villains, or quirky comic relief.

I work with a RØDE NT1 5th Gen mic, pop filter, and a treated space to deliver clean, broadcast-quality audio from my home studio. I edit in Audacity and can provide fast turnaround and directed sessions if needed.

I’ve been active on Casting Call Club, attended industry cons, and even made David Hayter laugh with my Donald Duck impression (still one of my favorite moments). I'm always learning, improving, and looking for new roles that challenge my range and storytelling instincts.

Strengths: Gritty or emotional character work, villains, creature voices, quirky sidekicks, and solid comedic timing.
