Hello hello!

I'm Amanda but you can find me everywhere as AAWarne. I have over fifteen years experiences as a writer, over five years as a script writer, and I'm about all things story.

I fall under the speculative fiction heading because I tend to bounce between genres. I'm strongest in fantasy, I lean into sci-fi, cherry pick from romance, and dance the edges of horror.

My mission at Casting Call: to jump on board and help your projects shine; meet great creatives; and then one day soon, run my own project.

As a writer:

• Idea workshop - this is where you have all the ideas in your head. Great. I can help you get them onto the page.

• Structural development - Once those ideas are on the page, are they in the right order? what's missing? That's where I come in.

• Characterisation - Who are your characters? And are they meaningful enough?

• World Building - Without world building, our characters are just floating talking heads.

• Plot - Avoid this happened and then this happened and then that. Plot is a magical dance, not a slap in the face. ha!

• The actual writing - I can either be a guide to helping you get through the writing, a leader to help a team, or a writer.

As a voice actor:

• Australian Accent (natural), both fast and slow.

• English accent, I can do a lot of variations, both fast and slow tempo.

• American, southern states, slow.
