joined this website to break into... voice work? acting? narration?

right, i'm gonna level with you: for most of my adult life, any time i've met and talked to someone for the first time, it's an inevitability that they'll ask me if i have a podcast, or if i do voice acting, or if i do narration work, or whatever. after years of hearing this, i decided i may as well give it a shot, if only so i actually have an answer.

i don't really plan on making the one billionth podcast about nothing, so i guess i've decided to try out voice acting. got a rode usb podmic, audacity, and some acoustic foam panels i obtained (stole) from an abandoned recording studio('s dumpster). all you need to get started, right?

new to this, dont really have a reel yet. imagine a white midwestern dude with a deep voice, i'm that.
