  • PRODUCTION IS PLUGGING ALONG!

    There was a slight production slump due to a hand injury. However, as of this week, the character art and animation for Episode 1 has resumed and is now back and rolling again at full speed! Seeing as the script for Episode 2 was also finished - If any additional roles come up, they will be posted and featured on the main casting call! Stay tuned :)

  • UPDATES

    Episode 1 is currently in production! Thank you all so much for an astounding 783 auditions! We have reposted the casting call to extend the deadline just a little further as we are STILL SEEKING a Laelaps and an Adelaide, both which are featured in the first episode, and are hoping to find actors for them within the next few days. We really need someone with a wide range of acting abilities and a super DEEP/MASCULINE/MATURE VOICE for Laelaps. Additionally, we still haven't found the right MOTHERLY/KIND/MATURE voice for Adelaide! Thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm about the project!     We are absolutely blown away with the response to this casting call on CCC. "Project Fenfalt" is almost at an astounding 600 auditions! We are still going through the new submissions. However, we wanted to invite those of you who are interested to join the project's fun and casual Discord server. WE NEED A SUPER DEEP, EXPRESSIVE VOICE 

Laelaps is the father of Otis, Cyprus, and Oaklee. He is a man with a strange past, who left his home terrain to be with their mother. However, he had to hide his past in order to do so, for the realm he comes from is dark and twisted. Nevertheless, he loves their mother more than anything... and is willing to sacrifice anything in order to guarantee her safety. But he is never fully happy with what he has, as he always strives to move forward. Becomes an antagonist. DEEEEEP VOICE NEEDED. 

  • [commanding soldiers, just after his best friend told him to lighten up] (stern, hard, trying to be a little more open) Now. You have to give it your all. This... this pursuit. It isn't going to wait for you, it is going to come for you, and it may just take you by surprise. So work harder.

    (a little embarrassed, as his positive, light-hearted friend stares him down)

     I- I just want you all to be ready... Why are you just standing around? GET TO WORK!

  • [to Adelaide] (compassionate and loving, a side of him we don't normally see) You have to take it easy. You know how it is... you have to take care of yourself, we can't lose you so early on... please... I don't know what to do.

  • [cold, distant... rage and desperation] It was for HER! I DID IT FOR HER! Why is it that whatever I do, I'm the bad one?

MOTHERLY VOICE NEEDED

Adelaide is the single mother of Otis and his two siblings. She is also a middle schooler teacher. She is sweet, loving, elegant, and yet powerful, as she has an ability that brings her recognition to those who know of it. However, after a terrible tragedy, her mind slowly starts to consume her. 

  • [speaking to the class] So picture the globe like a big ball [drawing on the board] Our hemisphere has three domains, all with their own special qualities. We live [points] here!

  • [to Otis] Just because you are my son, that doesn't mean I'm going to automatically pass you (compassionate) Come on, what's wrong?

  • [breaking down] (Crying) What happened? Why did this happen? Where are they? Where is *he*?

Otis is a young boy who is somewhat aloof and negative due to his fragile childhood, that of which he holds some regrets from. He grew up as the middle child with his mother and two siblings. However, there are times when he breaks through his shell and has a good time, especially around those who he knows best. After meeting Griffin, he begins to view things in a more positive light as he acquires this new support system. There will be heavy character development throughout the story. In the future, it will spin the other way, and he will become somewhat evil even if for a short period of time (not due entirely to his own means) so we are ideally looking for someone with a wide range of acting abilities. What drives him is revenge and a desire for his own idea of happiness and peace. As the project moves forward, these ideas may evolve a little. 

We do not want this to be overacted, so keep that in mind!

  • [packing his bag and suiting up, you are talking to Griffin] (frustrated) I know... I know! I just have to try, okay? I have to! All of this talk of waiting, of preparing... when in actuality it's simply excuse... procrastination. So you know what? I'm going! (pause) (sorrow) They'd do the same for me...

  • (laughing) No, I am not coming in, it's freezing. [looking over at Grifin] Canine going swimming with the felines? [Griffin grabs Otis and throws him into the water] (shock, freezing) AhHHH what the HELL?!

  • (indifferent, rude, cold, hint of anger) What defines bad, really? What makes you so right and me so wrong? Something inside of me constantly aches and pinches at my heart, and I just can't stop it... it never goes away.


    (sorrow, quiet, perhaps in an out-of-it state) What? What do you mean?

Griffin is the other lead character with struggles of his own. Losing the throne to his younger brother and becoming desperate as time moves towards an impending catastrophe, he is forced into connecting with Otis. He is overjoyed that he found someone compatible with him. He will also experience heavy character development as he initially starts out colder and detached, yet over time becomes more filled with emotion and grows close with those he meets, such as Otis. He starts to become like a father figure and dear friend to Otis, of sorts. Yet he is doing Otis a disservice by becoming so.

We do not want this to be overacted, so keep that in mind!

  • [to Otis] (old and wise, powerful, somewhat overbearing and unreachable) Some do not listen to reason. (beat) Do you really think it will get you anywhere? Do you think we'll live to see the results you so long for? (dark) People squirm for resolution, but don't seem to take the necessary actions.

  • [mocking Otis] (humorously, light-hearted) Oh you think you can beat me? I have four legs, you have two. Plus, your power is mine, kiddo. 

    (disgruntled) Who you calling old? Spirits don't age your way.

  • [facing off against Constantine, who is overpowering him entirely] (desperate, hopeful) They'll find a way... collectively, they'll mend their wrongs, they'll do what's right!

    (overwhelmed by emotion, determination) They are already improving!

Constantine is the younger brother of Griffin who claimed the throne after successfully demonstrating his capability to do so to the queen and king. He is the main villain, the villain after the villain. Without giving too much story away, picture him as a character that does bad deeds, but with reasons and a tragic past of his own that he uses to justify his actions. 

We do not want this overacted, so keep that in mind!

Son of Laelaps, brother of Oaklee and Otis. Preteen! The oldest brother of the three, but only by 1 year. He is goofy but slightly introverted. He doesn't stand out much in a crowd, but when something lights the spark within him, he is passionate and expressive. He has heart, even if it doesn't always show. Although minor, this character may disappear at the beginning and come back at the end, but sounding somewhat older, so we are hoping for someone who can sound both young and mature, both innocent and evil.

  •  [to Otis] (having fun, explaining) And then, the dude actually stood up, right? He was all mad, trying to take it back from her. And little Oaklee, she took the big crossbow, you know, the big one, and BAM! Hit the target right on the dot!

  • [annoyed] Dude stop.

  • [scared, in pain, think experiment going wrong, calling out to his dad for help, overwhelmed] What the...?! It hurts. What are they doing!? What’s happening!?

    [older, maybe 5 or so years later, menacing] Sorry to disappoint you.

He works his way up through the ranks! He is goofy, charismatic, and the best peacekeeper general you could ever ask for. Although he can be lazy and relaxed about things, he is in peak shape. He gets a kick out of messing with his soldiers, even though he truly cares for them. He is best friend to Laelaps, and becomes a supportive figure for his soldiers. But he can be quite aloof at times and doesn't care what in the world he says or what others think of him.

  • [chilling and sipping an ice-cold soda while his soldiers are working extremely hard under his orders] Ya that's right. Work it! Harder! Faster! Stronger! GOOOO!

    [kicking back, to another soldier sitting next to him] The weather sure is nice today, isn't it?

  • [kicks some booty] Aha! See? I told you I'm no fraud. Did you all see that? Yes? Ya that's right. Bask in my sheer gloryy!!!

    (calmer) No but seriously, I didn't think I could still do that, that was pretty epic.

Chief Opal, or as many call her, Chief, is like the queen of the territory and head of the council that rules where Otis and the others live. She is positive, spiritual, and elegant, yet also quite powerful and sensible. Those closest to her call her Opal, but it is respectful to call her Chief.

  • (angry... an emotion she never tends to show nor usually exhibits) He has brought this here! The divine ones would never turn against us! Never wish for us to do such terrible deeds!
