Metanoia is a series of voiced comics (and subsequently unvoiced literature), done for @SplinterCityOCT. Splinter City is a ruined, interdimensional realm with a prized wish at its center. Aislinn is a false idol of a cult that promotes heretical statements against the ruling royal family and —unbeknownst to her—sacrifices human lives to fuel her miracles. Blindly devoted to doing good and feeling pressure to be the perfect goddess the cult wants her to be, she pursues the wish in Splinter City to claim divinity. Arien, a prince in the royal family, pursues Aislinn as a heretic and is swept into the interdimensional journey. These two ill-adjusted people travel together, persevering through danger, past traumas, and despair.
