Hey! Welcome to my page! I'm Ian (also go by Funk), and buckle up for the info dump!

I'm originally a New Yorker, but moved to Florida and haven't left since. My accent isn't very strong, but it's there when it needs to be. I have a baritone voice mainly, but I have a healthy range and can get outside that a bit as needed for some younger voices.

I played sports in high school, so that led me as a performer into commentary and MC/host duties as I had a good knack for describing complex subjects well and can follow action. I also love comedy and am a huge improv fan so I really enjoy the way you need to stay on your feet to say something interesting. I'm looking to try live acting when I have a chance and more free time, but I've been performing narration and looking to be cast on projects here since it can be done from my home studio. 

I've provided commentary for tournaments such as CEO(Main, Dreamland, and taku!), Tampa Never Sleeps, Come To Papa(all 3), . Let's Make Moves, Tampa Never Sleeps, and my knowledge spans various traditional fighting games as well as platform fighters. I've casted in front of thousands of viewers on Twitch and I host my own, far less popular channel on Twitch as well. Needless to say, I'm not shy around a mic or a crowd.
 

I'm also a party game monster. I love them and I also have organized the Mario Party and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tournaments at CEO Dreamland 2020 at the start of the Panera. Let's play some games when we're not recording lines for projects!

Equipment

My personal DAW is Audacity, and the program I use for video editing is Magix Vegas. I have adequate soundproofing in my recording space, and I use an isolation shield and pop filter with my microphone. The model is the Audio Technica AT2020 XLR Condenser Mic.
