Hi, I'm Tommy, and I'm a voice actor looking to gain a foothold into the VA industry. I've been interested in using my voice for characters for video games and cartoons since the age of 13 and would love to make it my full-time career. I can do a wide variety of voices, from an authentic-sounding AI/text-to-speech voice to a harrumphing English nobleman, and I try to bring a certain element of British charm to my performances where possible. On top of my paid jobs, I produce a podcast recapping the weekly misadventures of my Dungeons and Dragons party -- something which I found that I had some natural talent for (although I’m always looking for, and finding, ways to improve!) and it opened my eyes to the possibility of voice acting as a career choice.
Dungeons and Dragons is a passion of mine, as are all board gaming and fantasy pursuits. I'm a performance poet, a musician, a storyteller, an events host, an accidental voice actor, Artistic Director for Spoken Word at PBH’s Free Fringe, and an enormous geek. During weekdays, I persuade people to make lists and say no to shiny things. For every role, there is a different hat, and a spreadsheet to match. My first full poetry collection, Spectral, came out with Burning Eye in March 2022, and I describe it as “a kind of poetry concept album, with illustrations”.
In 2017, I fell into voice acting, partly on a dare, not realising that this one-off recording for a friend would end up turning into a recurring main cast role on cult horror drama podcast The Magnus Archives, where I played the very troubled (and troubling) Daisy Tonner.
