My name is Jamison Jensen, though I use the pseudonym J.B. Jensen for production. I have pursued voiceover and performance as a hobby for almost 10 years, and have begun to look into making it a career. I currently work remotely from Pierce County, WA, USA and am open to any and all roles. I have a background in public speaking, entertainment, broadcast design and production, as well as sales and event coordination.
This introductory course to performance was done via online classes and utilized Zoom videoconference software to record performances. This course went over film noir, basic voice acting, improvisation, Kabuki Theatre, Mime and Pantomime, as well as touching upon the Stanislavski System, The Method, and Method Acting.
This course covered basic theatre history, including ancient Greek performance, musicals, dramatic and comedic plays, and required analysis of select modern contemporary and classic plays such as "The Tragedy of Dr. Faustus", "Angels in America: Part 1", "Fences", and "Oedipus", as well as absurdist works such as "Waiting for Gadot". This course ushered me into stage performance.
