Cal Vance was Aiko's first recruit to the Saito Detective Agency. Cal was formerly an ordinary human and is now a Toon Catman. He is suave, sophisticated and an immensely capable detective. Cal is charismatic and persuasive with a seemingly unshakeable confidence. Though, deep down, he is troubled.
Cal's voice should be smooth, charismatic and magnetic. It should have the cadence of an intriguing noir detective. Although a Toon, that doesn't mean his voice/mannerisms will be exaggerated as he is more equivalent to a graphic novel protagonist. Cal Vance is a trans male character. Trans male voice actors highly encouraged to audition though all will be considered.
