CAPTAIN SPACEBOY, also known as SPACE (EX-)BOYFRIEND, is a major boss character in OMORI. He is the leader of the SPACE PIRATES that traverse throughout the galaxies and a major antagonist in the game. He possesses a green-colored space gun that shoots out laser beams and is used to fight against any opponent he encounters. 

As the leader of the SPACE PIRATES, CAPT. SPACEBOY is an adventurous man who desires to explore the galaxies and seeks a greater purpose in his life. He is also shown to be deeply sensitive towards those he cares about. CAPT. SPACEBOY notably appears to be a talented musician as he created his own SPECIAL MIXTAPE out of his love for SWEETHEART. However, CAPT. SPACEBOY does possess a rather emotional persona whenever he suffers under his breakup with SWEETHEART or her overbearing personality. This transforms him into the vengeful SPACE EX-BOYFRIEND, who only comes out only if SPACEBOY is angry. [description pulled from the OMORI Wiki]

Please note it is not necessary to audition for both CAPTAIN SPACEBOY and his singing voice unless you want to! You're more than welcome to audition for one or both of these roles; it's entirely possible we may cast the same person for both roles. We may not. But do not think you HAVE to sing in order to audition for CAPTAIN SPACEBOY.

POLLY is a character in OMORI. As BASIL's parents are often absent from the house, they hired her to act as a caretaker for him and his grandmother. As a caregiver, POLLY is shown to be kind and nurturing. She regularly concerns herself over the well-being of both BASIL and BASIL'S GRANDMA. Though polite and forgiving, she worries that others consider her taste in food plain and often makes more than just a few people can eat. [part of the description pulled from OMORI Wiki]

A cross between being motherly and timid is ideal for Polly. She has a lot of self-esteem issues, but has an infinitely big heart. 

The mother of SUNNY and MARI, SUNNY'S MOM frequently leaves voicemails for her son, asking how SUNNY is doing and how his packing is going. Though never seen in person, it can be inferred that she cares a lot about her son, as she leaves sticky notes around the house to remind him to take care of himself and calls him regularly to check up on him. MOM should sound like... well... a mom. But her situation is complicated and her genuine love for her son is complicated, too. It would be best if her words don't always match her tone of delivery. For example, consider the effect of saying "sorry" without sounding genuinely sorry.

KEL AND HERO'S MOM is an NPC and character in OMORI. She wears a pale green shirt and blue skirt. She is shown to be a caring mother who values the time spent with her family and her sons, but can tend to be a bit self-centered and short-sighted, sometimes overreacting to situations. She is shown to be dramatic and flighty. But ultimately, despite all of this, she cares very deeply about the people around her and does not hesitate to jump at the opportunity to provide for them.

KEL AND HERO'S MOM exhibits every range of emotion under the sun, so be prepared to be dramatic. Medium to medium-low pitch would work great. A motherly voice that can change emotion at a moment's notice.

KEL AND HERO'S DAD is a character in OMORI. He appears to be more laid-back and less strict than his wife, often able to get a laugh out of things that may have irritated others. He has lots of typical "dad" behaviors, showing a fondness for grilling and spending time with his family. He is shown to care deeply about his family and the people around him. A bit of a gruff but warm voice for KEL AND HERO'S DAD would be ideal. Low to medium-low pitch. Hearty but kind. You can probably tell in his voice he smiles and has smiled and will smile lots more.

KIM is a character and enemy in OMORI. She is one of the six members of THE HOOLIGANS, and the younger sister of VANCE. KIM is a short teenage girl with brown hair swept to the side, the other side of her head being shaved. She appears to have amber colored eyes with light red square glasses. KIM is shown to be a tomboy at heart, often engaging in rowdy antics and encouraging her friends to go along with her plans. She often expresses herself in a rather arrogant manner. A raspy, medium to medium-high teenage voice would be great for KIM. When BERLY, try to sound younger by a handful of years.

VANCE is a character and enemy in OMORI. He is one of the six members of THE HOOLIGANS and the older brother of KIM. VANCE is a teenage boy who wears a red flannel over a black t-shirt. There is a bunch of candy in his flannel pocket, and a lollipop in his mouth. VANCE is shown to be rather gruff and blunt at times when dealing with new people. He often tends to support his sister KIM in anything she plans to do, mostly to make sure she feels happy. Despite their different demeanors, VANCE and KIM both share a love for candy, to the point of repeatedly attempting to shoplift the candy store to get their fix. A rough, deep, and thick voice for VANCE is ideal. This guy loves his candy! For VAN, age him down by a handful of years. 

MIKHAEL, also known as THE MAVERICK, is a character and enemy in OMORI. He is one of the six members of THE HOOLIGANS. MIKHAEL is a teenage boy who wears a blond wig over his real, darker hair. This wig also deliberately covers his eyes. MIKHAEL tends to demonstrate an exaggerated personality during most of his encounters, often making flashy poses and using dramatic speech patterns in ordinary conversation. Please note the English accent. MIKHAEL/THE MAVERICK should sound like that one annoying, self-absorbed kid you know who thinks he's The Shit. For MIKAL, age him down by a handful of years.

ANGEL is a character and enemy in OMORI. He is one of the six members of THE HOOLIGANS, and the younger brother to ARTIST. ANGEL is a young boy with brown hair styled into a pompadour hairstyle, bearing a yellow hairpin on the left side of his head. ANGEL is shown to be very energetic and easy to get into fights. Having a passion for picking fights with other people, ANGEL has no fear when it comes to confronting those that are stronger than him. He also has an interest in collecting new cards and games to entertain himself. ANGEL heavily respects THE MAVERICK, looking up to him to the point of trying to mimic some of his moves occasionally. Boy-ish and dramatic. Medium to medium-high pitch. Think anime. He already should sound pretty young, but for NEB try to age him younger a little bit. 

CHARLENE, also known as CHARLIE, is a character and enemy in OMORI. She is one of the six members of THE HOOLIGANS. CHARLENE is a teenage girl standing at an above-average height compared to the other teenagers in FARAWAY. She notably has shaggy brown hair with multiple bangs covering her eyes. Unlike her friends, CHARLENE is shown to be silent and rather aloof. She doesn't appear to have that much to say in conversations, usually indicating her shyness around others. Shy and low would be best for CHARLIE. Timid and quiet. For SHARLEEN try to age her down or soften her by a handful of years.

BOSS is a character and the first boss in OMORI. He is FOREST PLAYGROUND's local bully who often harasses others for his own amusement. BOSS appears to be a giant purple rhinoceros figure with two green horns on the front of his face, pointing upwards. Compared to the other playground residents, BOSS towers above most of them in size. Known as the FOREST PLAYGROUND's resident bully, BOSS appears to enjoy harassing others for his own amusement. He also is shown to be rather rough towards those he interacts with. Doesn't necessarily have to be low-pitched. High-pitched and nasally works, too; we're open to different interpretations of this playground bully. 

NOTE: Whoever will be voicing BOSS will also be voicing TUCKER. TUCKER will not need a particularly different voice type than BOSS; just slightly different line delivery. He has a stranger, weirder personality. It is not necessary to audition specifically for TUCKER, just know there is another role attached to this one.

PLUTO is a character and optional enemy in OMORI. He serves as a transportation system that OMORI and friends can use to travel to various worlds in HEADSPACE. He appears to be a "giant statue" of rock representing the real-life planet Pluto but with buff arms and legs. He's described as intimidating. 

PLUTO is charismatic and often loud, but also can display a gentle passionate side when discussing his dreams and aspirations. He takes great gratification when showing off his strength, indicated by his favorite tagline: “When I flex! I feel my best!” PLUTO is defined by his unbreakable determination, characterized by a innate desire for freedom and an ability to forge his own path in life, which is why he escapes CAPT. SPACEBOY's planetarium. However, he also shows a desire to impress and help others, leading him into a contract with MR. JAWSUM, and becomes despondent when he proves unable to carry out his duty. Consider a deep, boisterous voice. When he's sentimental and emotional, don't be afraid to be silly. Release your inner Shakespearean. Or, even better, give us your best All-Might (My Hero Academia) impression. Low, mighty pitch.

SNALEY is a recurring character and NPC in OMORI. Whenever he appears, SNALEY often gets killed or injured by a series of unfortunate events that constantly happen to him. SNALEY appears to be a sentient marshmallow creature with a pair of small white legs. Occasionally oblivious at times, he often crosses paths with OMORI and friends, which leads to his unexpected series of deaths over and over again. Consider a silly "character" voice for SNALEY. If you don't know where to start, try a nasally tone. Show off your comedic timing! Medium to high pitch.

DAPHNE is a character in OMORI. She is the twin sister of BOWEN (also known as OTHER TWIN), and is MIKHAEL's sister. Her family runs the bakery inside OTHERMART and has been doing so for four generations. DAPHNE has dark skin and hair, much like her family members. She wears a white shirt and brown skirt, though it appears to be a uniform her family wears in their bakery. Despite her nonchalant appearance, she is quite talkative unlike her twin brother BOWEN. She is calm and gets bored easily, constantly looking for something to do when she's not working at the Bakery. She spends most of her time with BOWEN. [description pulled from OMORI Wiki]

Note the English accent. Both DAPHNE and DOUGHIE should sound monotone, but not un-emotive. A little creepy/unsettling is good. Unlike a lot of other counterpart characters, these two do not need a notable difference between their voices.

BOWEN is a character in OMORI. He is the twin brother of DAPHNE (also known as TWIN) and MIKHAEL's older brother. His family runs the bakery inside the OTHERMART. BOWEN has short dark hair which is curved at the left side and tanned skin alike to his sister. He seen wearing a white button up with taupe coloured pants, which appears to just be his uniform when working at the bakery. BOWEN is the less outspoken twin, having less dialogue than his twin sister DAPHNE. Like his sister, he enjoys playing games but gets bored quickly. He seems to spend most of his time with DAPHNE. Please note his English accent. Both BOWEN and BISCUIT should sound monotone, but not un-emotive. A little creepy/unsettling is good. Unlike a lot of other counterpart characters, the voices you give for BOWEN and BISCUIT do not have to vary that much.

MR. JAWSUM is a major antagonist in OMORI. He runs the LAST RESORT, located within the UNDERWATER HIGHWAY. He is also the boss of the GATOR GUYS and their other brothers. He is an anthropomorphic shark dressed like a business man. MR. JAWSUM is an unbelievably successful businessman who wants his entire career to be successful. He doesn't hesitate to trick anyone into signing his CONTRACTS to work for him at LAST RESORT. It's clear that the company is just barely staying afloat. [description pulled from the OMORI Wiki.]

Please note the Manhattan accent. Consider sounding like a Mob Boss from an old mafia movie. 

MOLLY is a character and NPC in OMORI. She is the oldest of the three SLIME GIRLS residing within HUMPHREY. Her appearance is derived from that of an octopus. MOLLY is the devious and cunning oldest SLIME SISTER, appearing somewhat passive aggressive and sometimes flirtatious. She often addresses people as "darling" and has a laugh that sounds like "fufufu." As a scientist, MOLLY seems to prefer working with metal. She describes herself as a busy person whose work takes patience and appears skilled. She is actually extraordinarily lazy and prefers computer sciences and technology as her medium due to the minimal amount of movement required to create her experiments. The biggest thing for MOLLY isn't voice type but line delivery. She's a prankster at heart, so be theatrical. "Tee-hee" energy.

NOTE: Whoever will be voicing MOLLY will also be voicing CRIS (BLUE-HAIRED GIRL). CRIS will not need a particularly different voice type than MOLLY; just slightly different line delivery. She has a milder, younger personality. It is not necessary to audition specifically for CRIS, just know there is another role attached to this one.

MEDUSA is a character and NPC in OMORI. She is the youngest of the three SLIME GIRLS residing within HUMPHREY. Outside of battle, she has light green hair, lighter green skin, and wears a lab coat. She also has red eyes and wears circular red earrings. MEDUSA appears to have tentacles like her sisters which are similar to those of a jellyfish. Despite being the youngest of the slime sisters, MEDUSA also appears to be the most mature and practical. However, she does not like people with bad manners and feels they should be taught a lesson. She is usually the calmest and most mature of the three SLIME GIRL sisters; this should come through in your voice. Medium-low to low pitch would be ideal for MEDUSA. Bonus points for a Lust (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) impersonation.

NOTE: Whoever voices MEDUSA will also be voicing MINCY. MINCY does not need a particularly different voice type than MEDUSA; she just has a milder, shier personality. It is not necessary to audition specifically for MINCY, just know there is another role attached to this one. 

JOY (also known as SMALL GIRL) is a character in OMORI who can be tutored. She appears to be somewhat pale and short in stature. As JOY, she is extremely shy and nervous, not confident. Her father keeps her pretty focused on her studies and limits her time outside with friends. Her counterpart, HAPPY, is more boisterous and chipper, no trace of stutter or shyness in sight. As JOY is pretty young, a medium-high to high pitch voice would be good for her. When you are voicing HAPPY, the only big difference besides sounding a little younger, is that there is no shyness or hesitancy. 

MICHAEL (also known as GUITAR GUY) is a character in OMORI. He has big aspirations of being a singer and musician one day and is trying to save money to move to the city so he can become a star. He's friendly and ambitious, but also cares deeply about his family. He is the bigger brother of JOY. [some description pulled from OMORI Wiki]

Medium to medium-low. MICHAEL is a musician and singer at heart who dreams of being a star. Sound hopeful and determined. His counterpart, GIBS, is a little sillier. Feel free to have a big more fun with his voice; the most important thing will be to sound a handful of years younger than you do as MICHAEL.

BRENT (also known as SMART-LOOKING BOY) is a character in OMORI who can be tutored. He has a lot of energy, but keeps it well maintained (for the most part) as he does his studies. [some description pulled from OMORI Wiki]

As BROWS, release your energy. Have fun with it. Go ham. As BRENT, you're a handful of years older, and you've learned that your studies are important. But every once in a while, that part of you that loves chaos just wants to be free...  Young boy voice. Medium to medium-high.

JESSE (also known as HEADPHONES KID) is a character in OMORI. Both he and his counterpart, BANGS, have very little energy and prefer to keep to themselves instead of venture outside of their comfort zones. Anything and everything takes "too much effort" to them, but they enjoy watching the people around them who they care about have fun. [some description pulled from OMORI Wiki]

Medium to medium-low for both JESSE and BANGS. The tone should be dry and uninterested in everything; constantly tired. Maybe a tinge of goth kid. The only difference between the two voices is that BANGS should sound a handful of years younger.

SEAN, also known as CHECKERS GUY, is a character in OMORI who resides in FARAWAY TOWN with his girlfriend, KAREN. He is a young adult with short, dark hair reminiscent of HERO's hair. He has somewhat pale skin and sports a short-sleeved shirt with a blue checkered pattern on it. He appears to be an extremely kind man who cares very deeply for his girlfriend, even forfeiting his own opinions for her sake. [description pulled from the OMORI wiki]

A relatively young adult, so medium to medium-high pitch. Friendly and upbeat and over-considerate. Kind of a walking doormat. Definitely a lovebird. As SHAWN, make sure to sound a handful of years younger. 

KAREN is a character and NPC in OMORI. KAREN appears to be a young woman and is initially referred to as PIGTAILS LADY. She has dark skin and hair styled into two pigtails. She is a perky, sweet girl who is deeply in love with her boyfriend, SEAN. 

SEAN and KAREN are that kind of couple that are painfully in love. Medium to medium-high or high would be a perfect voice for KAREN, but what matters most is line delivery: being able to be nearly annoying with how infatuated you are with your boyfriend. As REN, sound a handful of years younger.

BEBE is a character in OMORI. She has short brown hair and wears a purple and blue striped shirt. She is deeply romantic and hopeful, but very shy. She dreams of finding true love one day. Her biggest defining characteristic is her crush on a certain young man in town...

DAISY is a character and NPC in OMORI. She is one of the various residents of the FOREST PLAYGROUND, and appears to have a huge crush on the puzzle-loving NEB. DAISY is a small humanoid girl with white skin and dark purple hair that ends in a bobcut. DAISY is characterized by her shy, gentle demeanor. She enjoys picking new flowers and seems to collect them as a hobby. Her most defining trait is her huge crush on NEB, who only seems interested in playing puzzles. Whoever voices BEBE will also be voicing DAISY. Both girls can have a bashful, quiet voice. Medium-high to high pitch would be ideal. The only difference is that DAISY should sound a handful of years younger than BEBE.

The SPACE PIRATES are characters and NPCs in OMORI. They are led by CAPT. SPACEBOY. All SPACE PIRATES resemble bird-like humanoids with light blue skin and purple hair. They all appear identical in appearance, donning the same uniform of a red bandana with a star design on their heads and a striped shirt. The SPACE PIRATES are loyal individuals to CAPT. SPACEBOY, often caring for his wellbeing. Most of them desire to have a thrill-seeking adventure, and are disheartened when their beloved captain refuses to continue adventuring during his bedridden episode of lovesickness. 

There are three primary SPACE PIRATES, so at least three people will be cast for this role. Give us your best dudebro guy; pitches can vary!

KITE KID is a character and optional boss in OMORI. He is a young boy who enjoys flying his beloved kite in the breezy winds of PINWHEEL FOREST. KITE KID appears to be a young boy wearing a navy blue hat, goggles, jacket, and a yellow scarf. He is always seen with his kite. While not much is shown about him, KITE KID enjoys flying his kite and believes that his bond with it is unbeatable. [description pulled from OMORI Wiki]

KITE KID is quiet and reflective. Medium to medium-high pitch. Soft and thoughtful but confident in his friendship. 

LIFE JAM GUY is a character and enemy in OMORI. He is a friendly jar of red-colored jam that sells LIFE JAM to the party on every occasion they come across him. He resembles a large jar of red-colored jam. LIFE JAM GUY is shown to be amicable to the party, and offers them free samples of LIFE JAM. However, despite his benevolent demeanor, LIFE JAM GUY is rather dangerous. [description pulled from the OMORI Wiki] 

Consider a parody of the Kool-Aid Guy. Picture a commercial voice. Medium to low pitch.

SIR MAXIMUS I, II, & III are mini-bosses in OMORI. They are devoted guards that try to halt the party's progress in SWEETHEART'S CASTLE. SIR MAXIMUS IV is another character along this family line who is met later. They are dressed in knight's armor, with a blade instead of a plume for their helmets. All four roles will be ideally cast to the same actor so the same voice can be heard for all MAXIMUSES. Please give your best noble knight impression. (Bonus points for Inigo Montoya vibes.)

ROSA is a character and NPC in OMORI. She is an obnoxious SPROUT MOLE who claims herself to a big fan of SWEETHEART, acting rather antagonistic towards the group whenever they encounter her. ROSA is a SPROUT MOLE with a large pink bow. Arrogant in the same manner as SWEETHEART, ROSA feels no shame in stealing from others or wounding them mentally. She is obsessed with SWEETHEART. ROSA does not easily forgive others, taking things drastically far unless she is threatened in the process. [description pulled from the OMORI wiki]

High to medium pitch. Think snotty and mean girl vibes. Thrives off attention. Bonus points for being annoying.

SPROUT MOLE MIKE is a character and NPC in OMORI. He is a SPROUT MOLE who semi-hosts the hit game show filmed in SPROUT MOLE VILLAGE, SWEETHEART'S QUEST FOR HEARTS. SPROUT MOLE MIKE appears to be a typical SPROUT MOLE sporting a pair of dapper sunglasses that obscure his eyes from view. SPROUT MOLE MIKE possesses the persona of a show host, often expressing himself as an enthusiastic individual who wants the crowd to go wild during his shows. He usually tends to be dramatic when speaking to his audience, and is rather well-spoken compared to other regular SPROUT MOLES. [description pulled from the OMORI Wiki]

Think radio talk show host or gameshow host; a showman voice. Medium to low pitch. 

SPROUT MOLES are a group of characters in OMORI, they are a race of plant-like creatures that appear throughout the game. SPROUT MOLES are highly intelligent plant creatures, but they become hostile when they are lost. 

NOTE: There are many SPROUT MOLES throughout OMORI, both enemies and friends. This particular role won't be voicing ALL of them, but MOST, as well as providing a "standard" voice for extras to imitate when voicing additional SPROUT MOLES throughout the story. Internally, we are calling this particular role "SPROUT MOLE PRIME."

We are open to hearing whatever your interpretation of a SPROUT MOLE voice to be! The sillier, the better.

WEEPING WILLOW, also known as WILLOW, is a characters and NPC in OMORI. She is a mysterious woman residing at a lake within PYREFLY FOREST. WEEPING WILLOW takes on a ghostly appearance. She has pale gray skin, long green hair, and eyes obscured by her hair. WEEPING WILLOW is shown to be quite gloomy, easily driven to tears, and desires to look for true happiness. WEEPING WILLOW should sound bored and uninterested, but can be surprisingly emotional. Laughter is rare, but crying and wailing far more common. 

DADDY LONGLEGS is a character and NPC in OMORI. He serves as a guide-type character that follows the player around. DADDY LONGLEGS is a tall, completely black figure, with long claws for hands. Throughout the player's journey, talking to him multiple times results in different dialogue. Like most minor characters, he has a vague personality, but is suggested to be caring. Another character, like the KEEPER, who should have the odd quality of being unsettling and soothing/comforting. A rougher, lower voice might be ideal, but we are open to interpretations.

KEEPER OF THE CASTLE is a character and NPC in OMORI. It is known to hold various cryptic secrets. The KEEPER OF THE CASTLE is a long, shadowy creature made out of dark substance. The KEEPER OF THE CASTLE is rather mysterious, holding many secrets. It speaks in a rather calm, enigmatic manner. [description pulled from OMORI Wiki]

A voice that is both soothing and unsettling would be ideal, as paradoxical as that may seem. The KEEPER is a friend as much as an enigma.

ROCOCO is a character and NPC in OMORI. He is a lonely artist who aspires to make paintings and show them to anyone he comes across within the depths of SWEETHEART'S CASTLE. ROCOCO is a purple-colored elf with amber eyes and circular yellow earrings pierced through his pointy ears. ROCOCO strives to have someone appreciate his artworks. He is shown to be melodramatic, outspoken, and enthusiastic when coming up with something new. Along with that, ROCOCO also appears to suffer from loneliness due to being locked away for a long time. Please note the French accent. ROCOCO is the epitome of a dramatic and sad French artist. Emphasis on the drama. Bonus points if he sounds a little pathetic and/or desparate. 

MR. OUTBACK is a character and NPC in OMORI. MR. OUTBACK is a peculiar individual with the attire of a cowboy, wearing a dark brown vest with a star on it and a long-sleeved light brown shirt underneath. He claims to be around 33000 years old. MR. OUTBACK at first glance is usually shown to be a jolly, amicable person who posseses the demeanor of a typical cowboy. However, MR. OUTBACK is currently more reserved than before and often spends time giving advice to those who need it.  Regardless, MR. DINO is a character and NPC in OMORI. He is known as the founder and owner of the ongoing DINO'S DIG attraction. Consider some sort of dudebro or surfer dude voice. Open to interpretation, but he should be friendly and upbeat. The best DINO voice is one that makes us feel like we're at a theme park and he's our guide.

ACTUAL MOLES are a group of characters and NPCS in OMORI. ACTUAL MOLES are brown-colored moles wearing a light-brown cowboy hat. Most of them are either amicable to the party or somewhat hostile depending on their demeanor. 

NOTE: Similar to the "SPROUT MOLE" and "GATOR GUY" roles, whoever will be casted as "ACTUAL MOLE" will be the "anchor" voice actor for ACTUAL MOLE and be the one with the most lines. All additional one-liner MOLES will be done as extras mimicking the casted voice. Internally, we are calling this role "ACTUAL MOLE PRIME."

PAPA CHIP is a character and NPC in OMORI. He is an talking oven who specializes in baking cookies. PAPA CHIP is a large talking oven with pink and purple highlights.Jolly and cheerful, PAPA CHIP is friendly towards anyone he comes across. He also displays a protective nature towards the party. We are open to interpretations as to what PAPA CHIP's voice should be! Ideally, have fun with it; give him a "character" voice.

GATOR GUYS are a group of characters and enemies in OMORI. They are the loyal henchmen of MR. JAWSUM, and are mostly found active in the LAST RESORT and UNDERWATER HIGHWAY. GATOR GUYS are anthropomorphic gators wearing purple-striped suits that cover their white shirts with a turquoise tie. GATOR GUYS are usually shown to be focused on their tasks, not wanting anyone to bother them. However, they appear to amicable towards anyone they meet despite their rough demeanor. However, it is also shown that they can be quite crafty and cunning. Despite this, most of them are friendly and bear little animosity to those who mess around with them. 

NOTE: Like the SPROUT MOLES, there are many GATOR GUYS throughout OMORI, both enemies and friends. This particular role won't be voicing ALL of them, but MOST, as well as providing a "standard" voice for extras to imitate when voicing additional GATOR GUYS throughout the story. Internally, we are calling this role "GATOR GUY PRIME."

The STRANGE MAN, also known as Billy, is a character and NPC in OMORI. Billy is a recycling-obsessed young man who can be encountered around FARAWAY. He often makes strange statements expressing the belief that everything is "trash." His room is furnished entirely by recyclable materials, and has a TV that plays a message in Morse Code:

"It's time to recycle let's all recycle it's good to recycle recycling is good for the environment recycling is a concept without recycling, you are nothing."

RECYCLEPATH is a character and optional enemy in OMORI. He is the leader of the RECYCULTISTS and a hidden boss.

This is one of the funniest characters in the game. Please. Your timing is everything. Voice type does not matter so much as that you should sound like a young man who is a parody of an eccentric Evangelical undergoing a villain origin arc. Reduce, reuse, and recycle!

PONYTAIL GIRL, or SARAH, is a character in OMORI. She's physically characterized by her brown ponytail she wears. She's a typical young girl who has parents going through a difficult time in their relationship. She's friendly and upbeat, but not afraid to complain about her current circumstances. She's also a bit of an optimist, trying to see the bright side of things. 

EMS, also known as EMILY, is a character and NPC in OMORI. She is a hamster that enjoys eating cheese. EMS is a pudgy hamster with beige and white colors on her body. She wears a yellow bow on her left ear, and is always shown smiling through her overworld sprite in all of her appearances in the game. EMS is shown to be cheerful and peppy, often happy to lend a hand whenever HERO calls her to help his friends out.

Whoever voices SARAH will also be voicing EMS. Both have a pretty high voice pitch and should sound energetic and expressive. 

PRETTY BOY is a character in OMORI who is often found relaxing on a bench at FARAWAY PARK. He appears to be a teen boy or young adult who sports a blue and black striped sweater. PRETTY BOY is shown to be a kind boy who enjoys people watching at the park. He enjoys playing PET ROCKS with his PET ROCK, ROSE LAD. 

PESSI is a character and NPC in OMORI who lives in OTHERWORLD. He is one of SWEETHEART's biggest fans, often cosplaying as her and claiming that he is the ultimate fan of the duchess. PESSI is a light-skinned humanoid that looks similar to SWEETHEART in appearance. He refers to himself as the "ultimate fan" and proudly expresses this feat to anyone he comes across.

Whoever voices PRETTY BOY will also be voicing PESSI. The biggest thing for PESSI isn't necessarily voice type, but line delivery. Capture Mean Girl energy with a pinch of K-POP stan. PRETTY BOY is much calmer and more composed. More friendly. 

KATIE (also known as COLORFUL GIRL) is a character in OMORI. She is friendly and upbeat and can usually be found in HOBBEEZ in FARAWAY TOWN, looking at the comics and books. We would love for whoever voices KATIE to also be voicing the VEGGIE KID(s) encountered throughout the game. 

VEGGIE KIDS are a group of characters and NPCs in OMORI. They are small, adorable vegetable creatures with a youthful design. VEGGIE KIDS are shown to adventurous, warm-hearted creatures that desire to discover new things around them.

KATIE is a typical young lady. Medium to medium-high pitch might be ideal. As a VEGGIE KID, pitch your voice slightly differently. Ideally, higher and younger.

The PREACHER is a character in OMORI. He is the priest who takes care of the CHURCH in FARAWAY TOWN. The PREACHER is a kind-hearted and religious man. He is open-minded towards others and never judges someone based on simply appearances or rumors.  He is also very patient. He can be very perceptive, being capable of seeing when someone is troubled. 

WISE ROCK is a character and NPC in OMORI. It is an sentient rock that can give OMORI and friends any type of advice whenever they need it within a grotto in the VAST FOREST. WISE ROCK is a small gray rock covered in a few chunks of grass. It possesses two small eyes and a mouth. As shown through its wisdom and knowledge, the WISE ROCK is a humble individual when it comes to giving advice to those who need it.

There is no deeper, super meaningful reason as to why whoever voices the PREACHER will also be voicing the WISE ROCK. We just thought it'd be funny. Give us your best interpretation of both!

ADRIAN (also known as APPLE GUY) is a character in OMORI. He is a vendor who sells APPLE JUICE at FARAWAY PARK. APPLE GUY is eerily similar in appearance to his rival, ORANGE GUY, who sells ORANGE JUICE at the FARAWAY PLAZA. He wears a red sweatband around his head and a matching tank top with white accents. APPLE GUY is shown to be passionate about the benefits of APPLE JUICE, ignoring any bad qualities it has due to his everlasting love for it. BRAYDEN (also known as ORANGE GUY) is a character in OMORI who sells ORANGE JUICE in FARAWAY PLAZA. ORANGE GUY is a vendor of ORANGE JUICE who is often seen at FARAWAY PLAZA. He wears primarily orange in order to promote his juice. The JOCK, also known as JAY, is a character in OMORI. KEL introduces him as the captain of the football teams at KEL's school. JAY is a young man who has blonde hair swept to the side. He's a notable athlete and is nearly always working out... maybe to try to gain the attention of another young man in town who usually likes to hang out at the park... Typical high school jock voice, but nice. He's a genuinely good dude. Have a tinge of football player to him.

GINO is a character in OMORI, being one of the long-time residents of Faraway. Despite his name being Gino, he has no connections to Gino's Pizzeria. A little bit of a vain nerd, GINO can be found trying to repair machinery in FARAWAY TOWN. He's a good sport, however, and friendly and upbeat even when he loses a challenge. MANDO (also known as FIX-IT GUY) is a character in OMORI. The man usually found behind the counter at FIX-IT, FARAWAY TOWN'S hardware store. He's generally uninterested in a whole lot other than trying to get money, often appearing bored or falling asleep while on the job, even while there's an open book about how to get rich quick at his elbow. A dry, uninterested, or tired tone would be great. Picture overworked college student at a part-time job who is clearly not paid enough and you'll have the energy you need for MANDO. Medium pitch.

The OLD BEARDY is a character in OMORI. He works as the caretaker of the cemetery located behind FARAWAY TOWN's CHURCH. The OLD BEARDY is an elderly man with long straight white hair and a full beard. He wears an indigo jacket and black pants. OLD BEARDY is shown to be a relaxed individual, often claiming that he sees spirits and making jokes about the dead as well. His signature characteristic is his hearty laugh. An old, deep, gruff voice is wonderful for OLD BEARDY. Someone who everyone knows in town might be kind of "cooky" but you can't help but respect, either.

GRUFF GUY is a character and NPC in OMORI. He is the father of KIM and VANCE and the ex-husband of the RED-GLASSES LADY. His signature characteristic is how often he grumbles and mumbles to himself. He's trying his best, but still messes up quite frequently. He cares for his kids, but doesn't know how to say "no" to them or be strict. As his character description is "GRUFF GUY," you can assume... his voice needs to be gruff. Raspy and rumbly. Medium-low to low pitch. For whatever reason, I picture an old 80's rocker voice for him, too. (Maybe it's the mullet.)

RED-GLASSES LADY is a character in OMORI. She is the mother of KIM and VANCE and the ex-wife of GRUFF GUY. True to her name, she wears red glasses. She also wears a neat red shirt with a vest atop it and a skirt to match. Unlike her former husband, GRUFF GUY, RED-GLASSES LADY is somewhat of a perfectionist and is very precise with what she wants. A fond hobby of hers, she enjoys tending to the various bonsai trees in her home, using them as canvases to unleash her emotions upon. A stern and strict mother, but not shown to be unkind. Medium to medium-high pitch. She likes everything to be in a certain order and everything done a certain way. This should come through in her line delivery.

ARTIST is a character in OMORI, being one of the long-time residents of FARAWAY TOWN. She is the older sister of ANGEL and a passionate pro in painting. The ARTIST is a young woman with long black hair. She wears a red bandana around her head and a green-and-white stripped dress. She is a passionate woman in the world of art, specializing in painting. She has great confidence in herself when it comes to painting, and hates anything that will disturb her while she is in the middle of making a masterpiece. [description pulled from the OMORI Wiki]

Big sister vibes. Medium to medium-low pitch. She's very passionate in everything she does: painting... and taking care of her little brother. Nothing is done by halves. Her passion should come through in her line delivery; don't be afraid to be dramatic.

YELLOW BUN GRANNY is a character in OMORI. True to her name, she has blonde hair pulled back into a bun. She is Charlie's mother and a very elderly, sweet lady who loves to talk. An elderly woman who loves to talk and reminisce. A little bit of an oversharer, but not in a bad way. Struggles with some health issues that could come through in her voice as she coughs. Medium to medium-high pitch.

BRENT'S MOTHER, or the SCHOOL PRINCIPAL is a character in OMORI. She is a focused woman who values studies and education above all else and has been the principal of the nearby school for years. She has a very extensive and impressive library, filled with books of very complex information. She is married to THE PHARMACIST, and both of them are noted for working extremely hard. A stern and authoritative kind of voice would be ideal for her. Medium-low to low pitch. She is an incredibly intelligent woman in charge and the mom you listen to and dare not disobey, even if she has her weaknesses.

BRENT'S FATHER, or the PHARMACIST is a character in OMORI and a shopkeeper at the local OTHERMART in FARAWAY PLAZA. Similar to his son and wife in terms of appearance, PHARMACIST has somewhat dark skin and large eyebrows that cover the top of his eyes. He appears to be kind and willing to help customers and is very fatherly. He's a hard worker, though, and laments not being able to be home enough to spend time with his family. He is married to the SCHOOL PRINCIPAL. [some description pulled from the OMORI Wiki]

The kind of guy who refers to the younger guys around him as "son" even seconds just after meeting them. Nice and clean and friendly and professional. Medium to medium-low pitch. 

JOY AND MICHAEL'S FATHER, THICK EYEBROWS, is a character in OMORI. It is said that he is stern and strict, and from the way he encourages JOY in her studies, perhaps he's firm. But he also cares about his children very much and values their happiness above all else, even if he doesn't always manage to show it or it takes him a while to understand. Please note the Chinese accent. Whoever is casted as JOY AND MICHAEL'S FATHER will be required to speak Mandarin at a certain point. Medium-low to low pitch, while still sounding older. 

The FASHIONABLE MOM is a character in OMORI. She's the mother of Billy, Bebe, and Brandi. She has a great sense of style and, like her name might suggest, cares a great deal about fashion and aesthetics. She does care about her children, but seems at a loss as to what to do with Billy. BILLY AND BEBE'S MOM should have a medium to medium-low pitch. She should sound like an adult, a mom, while also maintaining a big of a "popular"/"peppy" kind of tone to her voice. Bonus points for having a stereotypical valley girl accent, though not necessary.

CLUMSY GUY is a character in OMORI, being one of the long-time residents of Faraway. He is SARAH's father and a well-known klutz to those close to him. SARAH'S DAD is a bit of a bigger guy, as his dialogue suggests. Having a voice that reflects that might be ideal. The exact pitch doesn't matter so much as line delivery... it's okay if he sounds a little pathetic. (We love him anyway.)

PONYTAIL LADY is a character in OMORI, being one of the long-time residents of Faraway. She is Sarah's mother and a health-conscious woman who went to some great lengths for her and her family to be healthy and fit (much to her family's displeasure). SARAH'S MOM can be authoritative in line delivery at times, but more so in the way of someone TRYING to be authoritative, who isn't really and doesn't have the voice type to BE authoritative (though she tries). Really, she's a softie. Medium to medium-high pitch would be perfect for her.

WRINKLY FOREHEAD is a character in OMORI. WRINKLY FOREHEAD is an elderly man dressed in a pale uniform. He can be seen regularly cleaning up around FARAWAY PARK as the janitor. He's also JESSE'S DAD, a single parent who loves his son a lot but you can clearly tell has a generational gap when trying to connect with him. He doesn't understand JESSE or JESSE's interests, but he's doing his best to support him as much as he can--even when their family doesn't have a lot of money. JESSE'S DAD is one of my personal favorite parents from the game. He is clearly doing his best, even when he doesn't understand. Even when he makes mistakes, he tries. He should sound older, because he is than most other parents, but not grandpa-age. Anywhere in the medium pitch range is fine. 

ALL-AMERICAN GUY is a character in OMORI. He's CRIS'S DAD and married to ALL-AMERICAN MOM. The stereotypical kind of dad who is obsessed with football and can usually be found sitting on the couch watching a game and yelling at the TV while he drinks Orange Joe. Or, when he's not on the couch, he's outside grilling. He's friendly when you talk to him, but also tends to have a short temper and prefers you not to stand in his way when he's trying to watch TV. CRIS'S DAD would benefit from a slight rasp. Medium to medium-low pitch. We are open to different interpretations of this football fanatic dad, though, including accents!

ALL-AMERICAN MOM is a character in OMORI. She is the mother of CRIS and married to ALL-AMERICAN GUY. She is warm, hearty, and an award-winning cook. The kind of mom who lives next door to you and almost always has something for you to eat on the counter. When she sees you, she'll talk about how tall you've grown and how she remembers how you were when you were little. Neighborly and sweet, if a little forgetful like her husband. CRIS'S MOM would benefit from a more stereotypical SUBURBAN NEIGHBOR MOM voice. The kind who loves to gossip. A little bit of a stereotypical "Karen," if you will.
