We Are Heroes fanfic read!
Project Overview
We Are Heroes is a fanfic based on a movie pitch I created for My Hero Academia, I completed it in Early December, and with my discovery of this website, I had an idea! Why not make sort of a “voiced dub” for this? Rules are, good sound quality, and don’t get upset! I will eventually put the story out to read... unfortunately, I’m very young for a member on CCC (teenager) and I don’t really have a credit card account, so this will go unpaid.
Also, it’s preferred if you have a Discord so we can keep in close contact during this project! Anyone who ghosts will be recast, and every 2 weeks from Tuesday afternoon to Thursday at noon we will record for the project, after everything is recorded, I will post the videos a few weeks at a time. My Discord is Tuna-Chan#2700 and I’ll add you to the server once you friend me! :)
I will also go into the planning of the entire We Are Heroes thing for a small break in the middle of videos to explain how I came up with it, show concept art (will be between me and another artist) and explain plot points.

Jing is the guardian of Yi and a pro hero in Sonar Island. She is an original character in We Are Heroes.
I was going for a pretty “friendly older sister/mother” voice, sorta like Serena’s English voice from Pokemon XY?
“Um... sir? I’m kinda ‘taken’ right now- HUWAAH!”
“This is Yi...! I’m his guardian and main caretaker!”
“Li-Li! We kinda get it! *laughing*”
Yi is a 12 year old boy that resides in Sonar Island, he is a descendant of an important quirk figure in the past, and is basically hunted down for his quirk eventually.
I could hear Yi with the ‘child just beginning puberty’ voice where it’s a very, VERY tiny bit lower pitched then most little boys.
“Ms. Rei? Should I show them their rooms?
“My... parents... i’d rather not talk about them...”
“Jirou! This is so cool! They’re all floating!”
Your job will be to put sound effects from the BNHA anime when it’s appropriate, likely when I tell you to in the script.
Say something you think would fit
Li-Li, or Toxicity, is a pro hero in Sonar Island and Jing’s best friend. Li-Li is non-binary, and therefore has a in the middle of a high and low voice, like Saiga Mitsuki. Li-Li is very secretive and mysterious, and can be an amazing help in hero work.
(Note: If you usually like playing the good guy... um... i’d stay away from Li-Li... stuff gets crazy... really crazy...)
“Sir. It’s about time...”
“Really? I have a very similar quirk!”
“And what will happen when the kids go to the party?”
Henkoshi is the boss of the Sonar Island Hero Agency and Jing and Li-Li’s boss and close friend. He is 58 years old and pretty serious, but he constantly dotes over Jing and Li-Li like they are his own children.
Henkoshi has a gruff voice, sort of like a tired cop who wants to sleep but just can’t, he has a bit of the old man rumble in it, but it’s very subtle.
“Li-Li, Jing, If you’d excuse me for a second...”
“So, when’s the wedding?
“Don’t do anything too stupid kid...!”
Whoever gets this role will voice the minor male characters in this project, you will voice (not in order) The Pilot, A few pro heroes, a few very minor villains, a fancy pervy boi at the gala the Pro Heroes go to, and etc.
Note: If possible, try to make the guy at the Gala sound like Sebastian from Black Butler but a wuss.
(Dapper voice) “My my, what a beautiful lady”
(Pilot-ish voice) “Welcome aboard passengers!”
(Gruff voice) “And Mr. Rikiiya, what if-
As this role, you will voice the whiny teenage girl and her mother on the plane, the snobby woman who can’t find a good seat on the plane, the lady in the plane video, various pro heroes, etc.
(Annoying teenager voice) “Ugh... this is so unfair!”
(Whatever tone you’d like to use) “So... they’re planning to invade the party?”
(Fancy voice) “Can’t I find a good seat here?!”
Izuku Midoriya is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia, as well as the main character of the fan story.
If possible, his voice has to be pretty close to his dub voice.
“I will become a hero! Just watch!”
“Wait, Kaachan! That isn’t really fair!”
“You really think so Eri?”
Ochako Uraraka is a main character in My Hero Academia, she is Deku’s main love interest.
If possible, her voice has to be pretty close to her dub voice.
“Huh? It’s Tsu! Heyyy Tsu!”
“You having fun Deku?”
“I’m so sorry... mom... dad...”
Tenya Iida is a main character in My Hero Academia, he the Class President of Class 1-A.
If possible, his voice has to be pretty close to his dub voice.
“MIDORIYA! You’re late!”
“In the honor of my brother, my name... is Ingenium...”
“You have to hurry! I don’t know how long Sensei and Thirteen can hold out!”
Katsuki Bakugo is the deutoragonist of My Hero Academia, he is Deku’s angry childhood friend and later rival.
If possible make sure his voice sounds like his dub voice.
“DIE DEKU!!!!”
“I’M PERFECTLY CALM AND RATIONAL YOU RED HAIRED LOSER!”
“Get outta my way...”
Eijiro Kirishima is a character in My Hero Academia, he is Bakugo’s close friend and a student in Class 1-A.

“Red Riot, UNBREAKABLE!”
“Ah! There you are!”
“Just stay relaxed Midoriya, this happens to me all the time! How do you talk to a girl again?”
Shoto Todoroki is a main character in My Hero Academia, he is the son of Endeavor and a student in Class 1-A
If possible, make sure his voice sounds like his dub voice.
“I’m gonna show that bastard that I don’t need his power to succeed...”
“Can we just calm down? It’s not worth a petty argument..”
“Heh, it’s like you told me... it’s your power..”
Denki Kaminari is a main character in My Hero Academia, he is a student in Class 1-A

Toru Hagakure is a character in My Hero Academia, she is a student in Class 1-A. She is invisible and is rarely seen.

Natsuro Yamahaki is the main villain of We Are Heroes, he is seeking out Yi’s quirk to use for his own benefit.
Dart has a very cool and calm voice, almost like Todoroki, but when he’s mad, he can have a very gruff voice.

Budoraki Sukinoru is the secondary villain of We Are Heroes, he is Dart’s closest friend and follower.
Sir-Fights-Alot has a constantly annoyed voice, he always sounds like he’s about to kill you in the most crushing way possible.
