Based on creatingwcherri’s unpublished novel, “The Book of A Broken Promise”, the radio drama series is now underway! Episode one has been published, and now heARTcraft studios is in need of more creative talents to fill in very important gaps!

You MUST be AT LEAST 13 YEARS OLD to audition!
This is a long-term project, so if you can’t commit, don’t audition.
If your Discord username is not mentioned in your audition, I will let you know. If the username is not given within 24 hours of me notifying you, your audition will be dismissed.

-Plot Summary-
In the midst of a city crisis, a family of gifted writers harnesses magic to craft a book capable of manifesting their own utopia. Inviting trusted allies into this enchanted realm, they seek refuge from the chaos, promising a haven of peace...The Book. But as rifts form between those who embrace this new world and those who remain behind, love and loyalty are tested.
Sophie, daughter of the book's creators, forsakes familial approval to pursue a forbidden romance with Chris, a writer bound to the mundane world. Despite their bond, divisions threaten to tear them apart. Meanwhile, the once-idyllic realm within The Book begins to falter, its foundation of love and harmony eroding with time. As this aspect of peace wanes, so does the book's stability, drawing unsuspecting souls into its unraveling pages.
As the fabric of their enchanted world unravels, Mira, Sophie’s daughter, faces a daunting decision: lead her people to abandon their sanctuary to prevent further decay, or attempt to salvage fleeting peace at the risk of inevitable destruction of The Book. Caught between duty and desire, Mira must navigate a way to save both her loved ones and their home which they fought so dearly to save.

Ms. Sophie is a woman of many layers, with a heart full of love and a soul burdened by secrets. She is a hardworking mother who tirelessly strives for the betterment of her family and the world. However, her past is shrouded in mystery, and the weight of her secrets has led to a catastrophic event that threatens the lives of many. As Mira, Ms. Sophie’s daughter, sets out on a dangerous journey into the book to save hundreds of lives, she is forced to confront the secrets of her mother's past and the devastating consequences they have wrought.

Character description for Deirdre [deer-dray] (Over 30 years old):
When Mira first meets Deirdre, the encounter feels like a lifeline in a strange and unfamiliar world. As a Crizaki, Deirdre is not quite human, but her loving and maternal nature is clear from the moment they speak. Deirdre has lived inside the Book for as long as she can remember, and her experience is a valuable asset to Mira's mission. She is wise and knowledgeable, giving Mira important information to help her find the missing people and restore peace to Nidoria. Despite her gentle and caring nature, Deirdre has some secrets of her own, much like Mira's mother in the real world. These secrets hold grave consequences, causing a dramatic shift in the story and leaving Mira to face new challenges and revelations.

Arki is more than just a cat, he is a magical companion called a Fraggle, and he's Mira's. With a hint of a British accent and a dash of attitude, he's a character for sure. He can be quite the suck-up sometimes, but you gotta love him.

His upbringing in the upper class has given him a taste for the finer things in life, and at times, this can make him seem spoiled. However, this is a shallow interpretation of who Aayan truly is.

Character description for Varis (19):
Varis is a captivating enigma, shrouded in mystery. His hair, shockingly white like the moon, is tied up in a small, messy ponytail that glimmers like silver in the light. The sharp angles of his face give him a fierce look, but it's softened by the depth of compassion he holds for those he loves. His gaze, intense and piercing, holds a depth of emotion that reflects his strength, determination, and empathy. His grey eyes flecked with gold seem to peer into the depths of one's soul.
Varis keeps his hood on at all times, a necessary precaution of his Varisasaka class, but sometimes he risks revealing his true identity by taking it off when he feels it's the most necessary. He is a man of few words, but when he does speak, his words carry great weight, revealing his wisdom and knowledge. His actions speak louder than words, showing his commitment to his beliefs and those he holds dear. Despite his allegiance to his father, the antagonist, Varis can't help but grow fond of Mira.
