Untitled Sci-Fi Horror Jam Game
Project Overview
I'm working on a game for the 62nd Godot Wild Jam. The gameplay is similar to the original Resident Evil, with a tone along the lines of Metal Gear Solid. The project is non-commercial and will be released for free.
A quick summary of the scenario:
Aboard the research ship SPECTARE, a group of scientists have been studying specimens of an alien lifeform known as the REMO, a species of vicious, blood-drinking warriors. When the Spectare comes under attack from a group of Remo, a single mercenary is sent in to drive the invaders off and extract the scientists.
Please be aware that there is a fair bit of blood, and a couple of F-bombs in the script.
Additionally, because this is a jam game, the deadline is very tight: you must be able to submit your lines by the end of Saturday, 21st October.

The protagonist. He was once a soldier with a good moral compass, but after being discharged, he turned to mercenary work to put food on the table. Hardened and grizzled, but also very tired.

Microwaved? Who the hell turns a room into a microwave?
You think the client's going to care? I'm only here so they can save face. They'll point to me and say they did everything they could.
Hangman's radio support. She's been in this line of work long enough to see the very worst of people, and as a result, she's cynical to the core. Hangman is just her latest assignment, and she's in no mood to give him a chance to impress her.

Intel confirms no survivors in the living quarters, so we've depressurised them remotely. Get into an airlock as quick as you can, then ditch the spacesuit, it'll only slow you down.
Congratu-fuckin'-lations, now get to work. Intel says there are four survivors, but we've only got a fix on one of them.
[softly] You... you actually let him go?
A group of brilliant but nervous xenobiologists, assigned to the space station to study the Remo specimen that have been brought on board. The attack from Remo forces has them anxious to escape, and they're glad to see help arrive... even if his name is "Hangman".
There are three separate scientists, but they all have the same voice.
