This is a fan dub of the Obey Me! Otome game. The game is centered around the seven demon brothers: Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Satan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Belphegor. MC is a human that is part of an exchange program to Devildom. Where they meet the brothers and has to live with them. And like every Otome game, feelings develop.
As I have multiple ideas in my head of what I would like to do with the project, this project is a LONG-TERM project. So don't apply if you don't want to be committed for a long period of time.
I will give more in-depth descriptions of each character below, as well as a clip that show cases their Japanese voice actors. I would like to have very similar voices to the original voice actors. But don't be afraid to audition for any part.
Requirements for this project:
-A good mic, no background noise in your audition.
-Good communication skills.
-Willingness to be flexible.
-Possibly willing to do extra content for patron page (which you will get compensated for depending on success).
-Time management skills, meeting deadlines appropriately.
-Discord and gmail (as scripts will be sent via google drive.)
The project due date will keep getting moved until all roles are filled. More roles will be added through out the week. Just because the due date is being moved, does not mean that you didn't get the part. I would like to cast at least two roles at a time. And I would like to get at least 10 auditions per role before making a decision.
*VAs must be willing to do a possible script read separate from audition. A small part of the script will be sent, which the VA will read for the part they are being considered and send in the audio.

I've decided that I'm going to officially complete the casting on Wednesday 4/10. I will keep moving my project back daily to hopefully gain more attention to the project until then. I feel pretty confident about who I want to cast in what roles but one of the roles I would like to hear a little more variety still and I would rather just close all the remaining roles at once. Just updating everyone. Since I know it may be a little hard to read, I have closed the roles Mammon, Lucifer, Levi, Beel, and Luke. I will no longer be excepting those auditions. Hello all. Just updating that three more roles are to be cast later today I will be reaching out to those who are cast on discord. Later today. (Probably about 3 ish hours from now). Always napping and constantly sleepy, Belphegor is the second youngest of the demon brothers but ranked as seventh due to his powers.Belphegor sometimes has a brisk temper, but he's also proactive, efficient, sensible, and mellow. He isn't particularly sociable, but makes an exception for MC (Who i've named Yuki), who he likes to cuddle and take naps with. Belphegor is rebellious and he does not care for any higher authorities, especially Diavolo and his whims. Additionally, it's mentioned by several of his brothers that he has the ability to manipulate them as well, using this ability to get out of things he finds tedious. It is also mentioned that he is the Yandere type. He also has a moment where he is portrayed as the villain. Second line portrays part of that. But he eventually comes around to like MC like the other brothers.

In my opinion: He has a higher pitched voice (but not quite so high as Asmo). He also tends to have a calm pace and has a bit of a breathy tone to it.
(two lines since the other one is just sleeping noises) (flirty) I really want to fall asleep with you today, Yuki. What do you say? (second part sleeping noises) zzz... zzz...
(Starts off good natured) Ah… this really brings back memories. This feeling… I wonder how long it’s been since I’ve touched a human? (suddenly dark/evil) So, Yuki…. …how can I express how I’m feeling right now? What can I do? (evil laugh that grows in intensity) Hehehe…. Heheheheh, AHAHAHAHAHA!
(Walking through the information given to him by MC) Hmm… So let me see if I’ve got this straight. There’s a spell on the staircase leading up here that ensures that no demon aside from Lucifer is able to climb it. However, it turns out that humans and angels CAN climb it, since they’re not demons. And what’s more, Lucifer seems confident that you haven’t found out about this room. Since this is Lucifer we’re talking about, I assume he would’ve put some sort of spell on this room as well, like he did with the staircase… So then, what’s going on here? How is it that you are able to see this room? …(thinking noise) …Well, I guess it doesn’t matter. Either way, it’s good news for us. Because that means that Lucifer doesn’t think you’ve been in contact with me.
Solomon is the other human exchange student that comes with MC to the Devildom. Solomon presents himself as confident and knowledgeable, he exudes confidence in his actions and seems to understand most of what goes on in the school. His confidence may also be a result of his magic, which is said to be quite powerful.When first meeting him, he already knows MC's name and can come off as somewhat arrogant.Despite being a composed person, Solomon takes joy in teasing Luke, which makes Simeon frequently tell him to go easier on him. He also finds amusement in the brothers' antics, much to their dismay. He is normally comes across as a smiling, composed person.

In my opinion: This is a medium pitched voice, with no 'special' qualities to it. Should be somewhat charming/ calm in nature.
(Two short lines in one) (ordering, confident, strict) Barbatos! Obey me! (2nd line, passive aggressive) And you think I'm not angry?
(summoning) …Here me, denizens of the darkness, you who are born of shadow and you who give birth to it. Hear me and do as I command! I, Solomon, call upon you to send forth one of your number! I summon the Avatar of Lust, Asmodeus…!
(sees MC looking uncomfortable) …Pardon me. Well, looks like a new song has started. I’d love the chance to dance with Yuki. Might I cut in? (concerned talking directly to MC now) …You look pale. Did Lucifer say something to you?
Despite being one of the most powerful demons in the Devildom as well as the Future King, Diavolo takes on a surprisingly fair and compassionate, if not joyous, attitude at almost all times.However, that is not to say he is a soft or lenient ruler, as even without the threat all demons appear respectfully intimidated by him. Diavolo proves to have much more wisdom than his cheerful demeanor suggests. He shows moments of solemn clarity in which he correctly predicts events that will occur in the future either due to his subtle encouragement or his intentional lack of intervention. He has the ability to tell if someone is telling the truth and has made a rule for himself to never tell a lie. Sometimes Diavolo may take statements literally. Just adding to his almost innocent nature.

In my opinion: He has a mid-deep voice that is always on the cheerful side. He has a youthful quality to his voice (but not that it makes him sound younger than a young adult). But be mindful he also has his 'leadership' side, where he isn't afraid to put down his foot.
(Acting like a disappointed parent) …That’s a good question, yes. Really, I have to say, I’m disappointed. (turned into a happier mood) I mean, a pillow fight? …How could you do something fun like that and yet not think to invite us?
(concerned for his friend) tell me then, what’s the real reason you sighed just now? it’s just you and me now. Everyone else is completely worn out from the frenzied battle. They’re all fast asleep at this point. Come on, you can tell me, right? What’s the harm?
(Two lines in one cause the one is short) (impressed) I must say, I can’t believe you managed to forge a pact with Mammon, Yuki. That’s no small feat. And what’s more, you did it in such a short time. (Angry) I can't afford to give Belphegor special treatment.
This is an extra role. Helen only appears in a small section of one of the lessons. I plan on reusing this voice actor for other extra roles (like the teacher in another on of the lessons). Helene is a witch that Asmo slept with and got trapped inside a portrait that now resides in the Demon King's Castle.
This is another character that doesn't have a set japanese voice actor. However, I'm looking for a young adult sounding female.
(angry) …Silence! Asmodeus… You haven’t changed one bit! You’re still the same awful womanizer of a demon you’ve always been. Not a day has passed that I haven’t thought of how much i Hate you, how much I RESENT you! NOT ONE SINGLE DAY!
(Screaming) AAAAAAH!
(Lecturing) …So then, this is a descriptive phrase. As for what it’s describing, you’ll find that here in the next paragraph… So, I think I’ll have one of you tell me the answer to the next question… (see's Mammon sleeping and chooses to call on him) Stupid-Mammon!
Lilith is the eighth of the siblings. But she dies during the Celestial War. She has a moment where her spirit reaches out to MC though and will be requiring a voice actress. I will also use whoever is casted to fill in some other extra lines throughout the series. Such as 'Woman B' in another lesson.
This role is open to interpretation. Obviously I'm looking for a feminine voice and preferable a young adult sounding voice. (The first line is actually a Woman B line but everything else is Lilith's lines)
(horrified) AAAAAH! YOU....YOU MURDERER!
(remembering) (thinking noise) … Following the Great Celestial War… … I was near death. My very existence hung by a thread. But thanks to Lucifer, I was reborn as a human. And so I lived out my life, a happy one as a human, never knowing who I was or what had happened. But then… …after my death, I remembered. I remembered who I was.
(concerned) …Hey, wake up. …You can do this. I know you can find me. …Please…
Simeon is one of the angel exchange students. Simeon has a calm demeanor, to the point that it is often commented "Wouldn't you be curious to see what Simeon's like when he's angry?" by a few other characters. He presents himself as a nice and always smiling person, no matter if he's talking with demons or humans.Despite his generally kind nature, he is a very strict but good supervisor. (As he is technically Luke's supervisor). Simeon tends to look for compromises, even if not agreed with, and he tries to act as an interlocutor.

In my opinion: Simeon has a medium pitched voice that is very calm and soft. Maybe a slight bit of rasp to the voice, but the voice over all should sound welcoming and almost 'floaty'.
(annoyed/ being strict) Wrong! Wrong! (skipping some lines here to make a longer line but same tone) "I'm hungry"? I don't believe that line is in the script, now is it? Also, Asmo... Watch where you stand. You're completely blocking Beel from view...
(two lines since short) (worried) It sounded like a woman screaming…? (amused) Ahahaha. I have to say, you really are funny, aren’t you Asmodeus?
(recounting a tale) …Hmm, let me think. Well, I suppose I still think of you in the same way I did back when you were up in the Celestial Realm. “Lucifer, the pride of the Celestial Realm, loved by all of creation… There was one angel he thought especially beautiful, one whom he praised and kept at his side. ‘Twas Asmodeus, jewel of the heavens.”
Number four among the seven brothers, Satan was born out of Lucifer's wrath. When truly angered, Satan can be harsh and unforgiving. Normally, he is sensible, quick-witted, and usually the voice of reason between the brothers until he comes into conflict with Lucifer. He has a tendency to overthink things... Although he is the Avatar of Wrath, Satan conducts himself in a composed manner. He is able to remain calm, composed, and understanding in situations one may expect a person to get angry in. But even he himself has moments where his true anger shows. Satan has a love for knowledge, evident from the overflowing book collection he owns spanning across various topics and an appreciation for the fine arts. His thirst for knowledge overwhelms any sense of self-preservation, as he will surround himself with cursed books even after they have proven dangerous to him. This may be, in part, related to his belief that knowledge can bring respect.

(trying to calm down his brothers) All right, you two, that’s enough. Stop throwing pillows at each other. You’re sending dust flying everywhere. (then gets hit by a pillow himself) mmHmmm. (irritated noise) … (blows up) THAT’S IT! I’M GONNA KILL BOTH OF YOU!
(flirty but not over the top) Eh, it’s nothing. I’m only carrying some stuff for you. … I mean, you looked like you were going to end up getting into an accident like that. It’s all well and good to work hard and push yourself, but every once in a while, you should call on me to help you. …But make sure you ask me. Not anyone else, all right?
Barbatos is the demon butler to Lord Diavolo. Barbatos has a very calm demeanor, although he does enjoy lightly teasing other people.Barbatos takes his position as a butler very seriously.The demon brothers believe that Barbatos could do anything, thus resulting in them frequently seeking out his help. While typically exuding a calm demeanor, Barbatos seems impartial to being interrupted when speaking about something he is passionate about, even going so far as to throw a fork at Mammon's head for speaking over him. Some of the demon brothers think that Barbatos is shady and scary. Despite being calm most of the time, he does have his moments where he isn't so calm. Like all the other demons.

(In an official manner) Now then, I’ll begin by explaining what we have planned for each day of the retreat. After you’ve taken your belongings up to your rooms, we’ll begin with a tour of the Demon Lord’s Castle, where you’ll have a chance to learn about Devildom history. We’ll be serving Devildom cuisine for dinner tonight, and I’ve taken the liberty of volunteering to prepare tonight’s meal myself.
Mammon is the second oldest and known as the Avatar of Greed. True to his title of 'Avatar of Greed', Mammon is naturally greedy and always seeking out opportunities to profit without putting much work. Although he's the second eldest, he acts immaturely when he doesn't get his way and is the biggest troublemaker of the brothers. He's egotistic and prideful, though it seems that it is only a façade to cover up his soft nature. He often refers to himself as "Ore-sama" and "Mammon-sama". "-sama" is a Japanese honorific given to people worthy of the utmost respect, so Ore (crude pronoun for me, I) -sama is, essentially, "The Great Me". Mammon is also quick to lie, but not very good at it; in many stories and chats, he stutters when he denies something (even while texting). He has a tendency to shout whenever he's angry or upset (which is most of the time) as well as growl when he's irritated. He often praises himself when he thinks any of the brothers compliments him (even if they aren't) and thrives on being complimented, especially by mc. espite his rashness, Mammon is sensitive to changes and highly empathetic; he's the first to notice if something is amiss with his brothers or MC.

(My opinion) It's a medium range of voice. Needing someone who is both very energetic in how they talk, but also able to flip around emotions with ease. A unique characteristic to the voice (not cartoonish though) would also help you stand out- wether that is a slight raspiness to the voice or something that makes the voice sound unique would help you stand out for this character.

(Whole line is annoyed) …! (Gasp) Ugh… I hate you guys! Every last one of ya! Fine… FINE! I’ll do it, okay?! All right, human, listen up. As much as I don’t want to look after you, I’ve got no choice. It’s a huge pain in the ass, and I’m too important for this kind of thing, but lucifer told me to do it, so I will. But in return, you better make sure you don’t cause me any trouble, got it?!
(Since this is a short one, there is two lines in this one): (Angry/ like you are about to strangle someone) You’d BETTER! … (reconsidering because they has something he wants. Begging) Um, I mean, yes, please. Please give it back, Leviathan, sir…! (second line) (happily) right, a pact, fine, I’m more than happy to do whatever you… (annoyed and surprised by the suggestion) …wait, WHAT?! Why d’ya want ME to make a PACT?!
Beelzebub, being the Avatar of Gluttony, is always hungry. Despite appearances that he thinks of nothing but food, he is emotionally mature and wants the best for his brothers. He loves his family more than anything — even food. Family is his number one priority and he has a big soft spot for his brothers. Not much else can be said about his character as that makes up the majority of his personality. Beel (I personally pronounce it Bee-L, but i've seen other pronounce it Bell as well) has little emotional range (except when angry). So this will be a harder part to play in my opinion as you want to avoid sounding monotoned while accomplishing this goal.

In my opinion: His voice is going to be a medium-deep voice. Nothing overly special about his voice. A MUST IS THAT YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DO EATING SOUNDS CONVINCINGLY.
(angry noise) … (angry)… did you eat my custard? Did you actually eat my CUSTARD?! Answer me, Mammon! You did, didn’t you…? (very angry, as angry as you can get) You… ate… my… CUSTARD!...
(Slightly defensive [keeping in mind Beel's limited emotional range]) Well, so have you. I mean, you’ve even left a cell phone charger here. And a toothbrush, too. That’s how much you’re over here.
(Shorter lines so two will be listed here) (line one eating) *munch* *munch* *munch*... *gag*... Ack.. food…. Caught in throat… (Line 2) (Embarrassed) Why...? Well if you get jealous, then I know you like me back.

The eldest of the brothers and hence is the leader of the household, Lucifer presents himself as a calm, composed, and intimidating person. He is a very strict and unforgiving demon and does not hesitate when doling out punishments to his younger brothers (often leading him to be called a sadist). However, despite being so uptight, he still makes an effort to joke around with his brothers, especially when it comes to teasing Mammon. Lucifer has sworn utmost loyalty to Diavolo who he has become very close to. Being the eldest, Lucifer is also the strongest of the demon brothers. Lucifer also tends to be subtly overprotective of his brothers, proving in his own way that he cares for them. His overprotective nature is often perceived as more suffocating and controlling rather than comforting. Despite everything, Lucifer genuinely wants what's best for his brothers.
In my opinion, this voice is a deep vocal range. A voice that has power behind it even when saying simple lines. And is what some might call 'easy to listen to'.
(really mad) BEELZEBUB… Were you hiding this angel in your room? Did you allow him access to the House of Lamentation? This angel who would try to STEAL THAT GRIMOIRE…? (skipping some lines here to add another part) YOU TWO HAD BETTER BE READY TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES…!
(Teasing) Ah, I see you’ve brought your chihuahua along with you. (Then in response to the person getting mad about his tease) Well, what do you expect? I am a demon, after all. Now then, stop yipping at me. C’mere boy… shake! Who’s a good boy?
… (annoyed sound) (sudden shift to lighthearted) Pf… haha. Hahahaha! Interesting. I think I’m starting to understand why you were chosen to come here. But you can’t say no. Because (from light hearted to dark) I’m not giving you a choice. …Now then, back to your room. If you value your life, you’ll do as I say.
The third oldest. Leviathan is a tsundere and an otaku. He spends almost all of his free time watching anime, reading manga, or in some way consuming media.He also spends much of his time playing video games. As the Avatar of Envy, Leviathan can be easily turned to jealousy and self-pity. He often remarks about how situations are "unfair" and how "lucky" others are. He does not think very highly of himself, often calling himself a "worthless otaku," and assumes others do not think highly of him as well. His jealousy also can cause him to lash out in anger, and he frequently uses his ability to summon the sea creature Lotan as a threat. He can also be easily embarrassed and would rather spend time with his figurines than be out with people.

(In my opinion) he has a medium range. Not as much energy in his voice as say Mammon, but not monotoned either. Ability to go through various emotions will be needed.
(Thoroughly enjoying taunting Mammon) Oh wow, this is embarrassing! I can’t believe that’s all it took for you to abandon your pride! You’re even down on your knees! You’re one of the seven rulers of the Devildom, Mammon. Shouldn’t you be ashamed of yourself? (Embarrassed) Of… of c-c-c… of c-c-course not! Th… Th-that’s cazy! There’s room in my heart for only one person, and she’s animated! I’ll always stay faithful to my dear, sweet Ruri-chan, always! Asmodeus is a natural flirt and considered to be very charming. He takes pride in his looks and considers himself a "gift meant to be shared with the entire world". As such, he takes extra care of his appearance and strictly follows a beauty ritual. Despite his narcissism, Asmodeus is hinted to be insecure and a seeker of love and attention. This character is very narcissistic and flirty. Although the game often uses 'he' for Asmo there is also times that Asmo is called 'princess Asmo' or similar showing that he is also very famine at times.

In my opinion: Asmo has a higher pitched voice, that is somewhat famine in nature. His voice is melodic. He is voice is very dramatic too.
(Acting like a game show host, dramatic) All right, everyone! Finally the wait is over! It’s time for Devil’s trivia showdown, the quiz show that pits demons against human! Today our competitors will be testing their knowledge regarding a super-famous, super-popular fantasy series. One that’s known by young and old alike… The tale of the Seven Lords! Now, it’s time to introduce our two competitors. First, he’s a demon who freely admits to being a giant TSL nerd! Meet Leviathan!
(angry/ annoyed) AAAH! I can’t take this anymore! I wish you’d just disappear! You can go burn in the fires of hell for all I care! If I could snap my fingers and send you there right now, I’d Do it!
(Flirty) Like on a short trip? Ooh are you trying to figure out where WE should go on a romantic get away? Aw muffin! You don't need to beat around the bush for that kind of thing! You can be honest.
Little D. is a reoccurring character. I also plan on using the actor that is cast in this role to fill in some of the extra roles along the way. Little D. not only assists MC in their journey but he also appears in one of the lessons just to stir up trouble between Mammon and MC. This is one of the characters that doesn't have a set voice actor, so I'm open to interpretation. He is a labeled a 'he' in the game though. So I'm either looking for quirky male voices or for females doing little boy voices. But something with a little bit of quirk to it, is what I'm personally looking for. But don't over do it.

Luke is one of the two Angel exchange students that comes to Devildom. Luke is very boisterous and opinionated, especially when it comes to things he dislikes. Due to his small physique and reactive outbursts, he is likened to a Chihuahua and is often called as such by the brothers, Diavolo and MC (Yuki is the name I've given MC). Although Luke's narrow-minded, he's also honest, genuine, and has a strict set of values. Luke is overall a very caring person who has a big heart and cherishes his friends, but he acts tough on the outside and dislikes it when people depict him that way.

In my opinion: Although he looks like a little boy, I'm looking for some one with a higher pitched, young sounding voice (not little child though). Someone with a quirky voice would probably fit this role very well. But it is a must that your voice desplays some childlike qualities despite sounding like an adult.
