My Amazing Woman: the cousins of Doctor Calculus
Project Overview
My Amazing Woman is an ongoing romantic superhero action comedy. A husband adjusts to having a wife with superpowers and a bunch of super powered friends (and enemies). These two characters appear in the second episode of our fourth season in the fall and in the My Amazing Woman movie. However, since we will be putting the movie together in the summer, I need them cast now.

Ruby Garnett is a world-famous singer and a bit of a diva. She's zaftig and of a good attitude and sense of humor. She however has no problem getting into a brawl. She's African-American. You do not have to be able to sing, as her singing will be pre-recorded by another person.

Thank you. Thank you so much. It’s wonderful to be back home among friends and family. This next song I wrote when my man walked out on me in a hotel room in Australia.
It’s all right. He came back. Anyway, I had all these thoughts and feelings, and I turned them into a song, because that’s what I do. And while I was working on it backstage, the producer of that show, Barristers of Brisbane, heard it and asked if he could use it as the theme for the show. So, I said to myself “I like money.”
(In response to being asked if she was a superheroine as well) I’m just Craig’s cousin and a famous singer. Besides, I wouldn’t be caught dead in stretch fabric.
Luther is the much more streetwise and charismatic cousin of Craig Gregory (Doctor Calculus). He is a deacon at his church, but once was arrested in Mexico for public urination. He is the cousin that is friends with the weirdo cousin (Craig) but somehow manages to remain cool. He plays paintball for recreation. And beyond that, he's a pretty blank slate, so a lot of choices are wide open for you.
