Project Overview


  • Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at my audition casting call! Before we begin I must lay down some basic requirements:

  • USB and XLR mics are the only mics that will be accepted (for mixing ease)

  • I will be singing the part of Yoshiko (not all of her solos though) The other roles will not be allocated by part but will be scripted once I know who is in the collab

  • Communication is key if I ask for retakes or contact you must be easily contactable to help the collab run smoothly.

  • Before submitting your lines, please go over these points: 

  • -are my lines in tune? (cross reference with the original and listen with the on vocal turned down significantly)

  • -are my lines in time mostly? (same as above)

  • -are my words clear and not slurred/legible/understandable

  • -am i recording too close/too far from my mic?

  • Recording Guidelines:

  • 1) Record in Mono, not in Stereo

  • 2) Please save as a WAV file (because i use Melodyne which only accepts WAV files)

  • 3) Please record 10 seconds of silence before your takes for vocal removal purposes

  • 4) Please if you can try to record all in one take 

  • 5) name the files so its easy for me to see what im working with.

After roles are chosen I will release a timeline of when certain components are due. This is a project I aim to complete by September.

  • Casting Decisions

    First of all I'd like to thank you all for auditioning for my project! I am truly overjoyed there was so much interest and it was INCREDIBLY hard to choose who to cast! That said, I will now announce the casting for the singers, sprite editor and staff! Please join me in congratulating them! I am looking for 8 singers to sing alongside me! All genders, voice types and ages are welcome!

I value commitment very highly so please only apply if you are willing to see this project through to the end!

  • Please provide a short sample link (30-45 seconds) of a cover so I can hear your voice. Preferably in the same style as this song (rock)

  • Please provide an audition clip link (1:14-1:48 of the song) you also agree that this clip will be used in a blend test
