What is Chakra?

In the southernmost part of the Izu Peninsula located in Shizuoka prefecture, lays the small, quiet town of Shimoda. This small island is known for its busy ports, hiking and biking trails, and the infamous Shirahama beach. In this small town, two schools stand.
An all girls' school, Shizuoka Gakkuen...
...and another public school that will remain unnamed.
Shizuoka Gakkuen is a school with a large amount of funding, and very high academics. Their students are top tier despite for being located in a small town. Their students graduate and are as good off as students from Tokyo. Shizuoka Gakkuen is only for girls, however still offer male sports such as football and baseball.
The unnamed school is full of degenerates who prize sports above academics. Their students usually do not even graduate, since most of them just drop out. This school has very poor funding and terrible academics. However, mostly boys go to this school considering there is already an all girls' school whose tuition is not all too high.
However, Shizuoka Gakkuen is corrupt and greedy. In an attempt to put the unnamed school out of business, they start accepting boys. However, due to the poor academics of the other school, the boys who went there failed the entrance exam. Less than 10 boys are currently in the Shizuoka Gakkuen high school program.

Chakra Idols is composed of 7 vocalists, with one of them being male, one being non-binary, and the other five being female. Each idol is related to each chakra point on the body with the corresponding stone (ex. heart chakra = rose quartz).

-------------------------------------------- Music ----------------------------------------------
What kind of music will we make? Well, that's a pretty straightforward question.
Chakra Idols will be making peaceful and "pretty" music. During this time, we all need a little relaxation. Our goal is to give our viewers peaceful music along with character plots and stories they can relate to.
Eventually, we plan on having 2 subunits. Their names have not been chosen.
We also plan on having a rival group if future funding goes well. This will remain undecided for now.
-------------------------------------------- Staff Roles ----------------------------------------------
We are currently looking for many, many staff. As of now, the only roles that may not be needed is the instrumental mixer and the instruments themselves. Composers can make these artificially, by using programs such as flat.io.
One of the most need roles at this moment is the artist. Artists play a huge role in this project, as they will be making official art not only for MV's, but also for future Patreon awards and for general official art.
Video Editors/Animators are also very much needed! Our MV's wil make or break without good editors. This role is extremely needed~
Both forms of lyricists are needed. We need a team of them to spitball ideas back and forth!
Composers are highly needed. We need them to make the music in the first place!

Payment is certainly an issue... We plan to have payment set up after our debut single. We plan to have funding for our group, so payment is negotiable. Our group is not made for profit. I myself am not here to make money, I am here to have fun.
However, I know how hard staff and vocalists will work for this project. Payment will be in effect after the 1st debut single.

We need a team of artists (at least 2). We are needing original art, obviously. We are not looking for realism, more so looking for anime styled art. You must be able to draw full bodies, color, and shade correctly. Please send in at least 2 files of your artwork in a Google Drive format. You may also link an art account if applicable.

We are in need of a team of lyricists (at least 3). So, if you see only 1 person has been cast, don't worry you may be casted as well. Please send in examples of English or Japanese romaji lyrics you have made (with English translation of course). I cannot read Japanese (sorry, but I can pronounce it). Please send in at least 1 piece of your work, and/or music you wrote the lyrics to or helped create. Submit this in Google Drive format.

We need a team of lyric translators (at least 3). They will translate English lyrics from the team who wrote the lyrics. Please send in some of your translation work. For example, on a Google Doc, copy paste already made English lyrics, then translate them as well. Send in at least 1 example in Google Drive format.

We need someone to be able to compose the music. I'm not a musician myself, so you are given a lot of freedom here. As long as communication is good between you, the instruments, and vocalists, things should work out. Sheet music is a very nice way to visualize this, however whatever methods you use should work. Please send in at least 2 examples of your composed music that's longer than 30 secs while played in a Google Drive format.

We need a pianist or maybe more depending on workload. You must be able to read sheet music, and play fluently. You will be the one recording your piano work, up to tempo, for the vocalists to learn their music (this is also for timing purposes). Send in at least 1 example of your playing ability for longer than 15 secs. The song choice is up to you. You may also link more examples in Google Drive format.
