Ashe: Fire and Blood is attracting top talent! I'm thrilled to announce that Anna Rust (Carnival Row, Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy 14) is bringing her incredible voice to Ashe. Joining her is the legendary Sean Chiplock (Genshin Impact, Re:Zero) as Aryo. This project is shaping up to be something special!
This project is a non-commercial, fan-made video game modification project. This expansive questline delves into the story of Ashe, an ashen-haired mercenary bound by an unyielding thirst for vengeance. As players accompany her on a journey shrouded in secrecy, they'll gradually unravel the truth of her past and the extraordinary forces that shaped her.
Initially, her steely facade and unwavering focus may seem impenetrable. However, as the player assists Ashe in her quest, glimpses of her true nature begin to emerge. Choices made along the way will shape her destiny and force her to confront the echoes of a past she struggles to remember. When vengeance is achieved, will Ashe find peace, or will a startling revelation ignite a new purpose within a world that grapples to understand her?
The add-on will be free to download and play, for any user that can download custom assets, such as: Steam, Epic Games, GOG, Game Pass and XBOX users.
Though the modification itself is free and non-profit, merchandise (mainly art prints) might be made in the future, should the project be successful and resonate with fans - similar to what Inigo and Lucien do.

Ashe has the most dialogue (as she is the lead). The following characters are side characters who appear once, or every so often during Ashe’s questline.
Each side character (with exceptions) has:
Basic greeting dialogue for them to otherwise say while the quest is not running.
Dialogue related to their role in Ashe’s story quest.

Given the medieval fantasy setting, the script incorporates a significant amount of Elder Scrolls jargon that might pose a challenge for some. However, any unclear terms will be clarified by me, the Director. Fortunately, most of the words are pronounced as you would anticipate. In terms of language, Skyrim maintains a generally contemporary tone, employing contractions and similar linguistic elements.

To those who audition:
Take note of the "envisioned" voices for each character, which are provided as clickable links to voice samples. These serve as suggestions, but I'm open to your own interpretation. Feel free to experiment with different inflections, accents, and any other elements you believe would work best. Don't hesitate to provide multiple takes—it's all about finding the perfect fit!

Canas is calm, observant, and deeply respectful of Aryo. He's genuinely supportive of Ashe, seeking to understand her unique perspective and assist in her quest for self-discovery. Initially, he withholds information about Aryo's personal life, believing this knowledge could be an emotional burden to Ashe as she grapples with her own identity and purpose. His secrecy stems from a well-meaning, yet cautious, desire to protect her.

Ike is a former Dark Brotherhood assassin, now living a retired life on the outskirts of Markarth. Initially a no-nonsense, quiet professional contracted to kill Aryo Avellan by Lord Medeus’ servants, Ike performed his duties without personal malice towards his targets. Following his retirement six years after the incident, Ike undergoes a significant personality transformation; from being reserved and strictly professional, he becomes meek and kind-hearted, demonstrating a newfound openness by welcoming the player and Ashe into his home. His story is one of dignity and honor, maintaining a strong sense of commitment and seriousness towards oaths, reflecting a deep-seated respect for the promises he makes.

Greil Anderun serves as the cunning and deceptive Dark Brotherhood Informant, using his deep understanding of societal dynamics and manipulation to advance his position. Resembling characters like Littlefinger from Game of Thrones, Greil's expertise in deceit was sharpened during his time as an advisor to House Telvanni, a role he lost due to conspiring against a noble. Although expelled, he finds refuge and purpose within the Dark Brotherhood, exploiting the organization's resources and threats for personal gain. Greil's interactions are a blend of charm and danger; he presents a friendly facade, only to betray with calculated malice. His actions are driven by self-centeredness, greed, and an insatiable ambition, making him a master of manipulation who thrives on the chaos he orchestrates.
