When I write and never stop thinking about why I write, I constantly learn something new about the world or about myself. I can't resist the everlasting process, and it would be magical to share the feeling with others.

About NayiColors

NayiColors is a young self-publishing fiction author who is seeking to find herself in worlds unwritten, unknown, and unseen. She defends fiction-writing without hesitation, believing that it can not only entertain but teach others in unique and purposeful ways. Her interest in her passions never ends, as does her interest in random things she tries when the urge hits. In between writing or brainstorming in her head about plot lines and story meaning, she can be found studying culture or languages, gaming, tangling herself in yarn, second-guessing art endeavors, gaining inspiration from nothing and everything, all while carrying an awkward and esoteric energy.

What NayiColors is looking for

(A specific list of my writing interests are listed at the bottom of this description.)

Collaboration is a great opportunity to become a better learner, teacher, writer, listener, and cooperator. All of these skills are essential for life and I value the exchange of genuine feedback, no matter the source. If you are reading this now and would like to write, create, brainstorm, edit, or plan together, I would be happy to accompany you. I want to understand more about how the changing times cause our minds to shift, for better or for worse, and how we can paint this reality through story. There's something freeing about being imperfect, like a character's past, or even a polished novel, but I believe that striving to perfect ourselves is what puts us at liberty in our expanding imagination. God has given His creation all that we need in order to give back to one another in the best way that we can, and I find I am able to best express this through writing.

I explore and intend to explore:

  • Collaborating with readers, artists, coders, and other creative minds to create fiction

  • Writing and developing narratives that inspire different ways to look at life

  • Making relatable characters (or just amusing ones)

  • Discussing life and writing topics with others

  • Offering skills and talents to creators

  • Incorporating different ways to communicate and to view values and morals (whether it be through foreign language or a different perspective)

  • Recognizing, learning from, and growing from mistakes

  • Expressing desire change through story

  • Helping to contribute constructive purpose to the entertainment industry

  • Anything else God has in store
