Nice to meet you, my name is Jonathon, or Jonny for short!

I have been interested in voice acting for years and have cultivated my skillset over those years for use in content creation and narration. I now feel I am ready to formally train and apply for VA work, to sharpen my skillset and provide value to projects of all kinds. I'm passionate to learn and experience the many facets of the Voice Acting industry, and would love to work with you and hear your feedback!

SKILLSET:

• Male, Adult/Teen voices. Can pitch down to reliably replicate deep-voiced/dominant characters, and pitch up to voice quirky/inspired teenage characters. (EX: Spike Spiegel [Cowboy Bebop] -> Rock Lee [Naruto]). Able to replicate fry screams and intense emotion. Excels in non-verbal sound expressions. Can mimic various tones within my vocal range to create a new sound to match what the client desires. Extremely experienced in voice-over and narration work for documentary-style content, namely for viral YouTube content.

INSPIRATIONS:

• I was mainly inspired to pursue Voice Acting from watching dubbed versions of anime. I found myself mimicking characters and hearing the classic line from friends, "you should do voice acting! Or radio!". My favorite voice actor is Steve Blum. I also love experimenting with the styles of: Vic Mignona, Crispin Freeman, Johnny Yong Bosch. I've always wanted to hear my voice in an anime or video game!
