Hello, and welcome! My name is Max, and I'm partnering with the lovely and adoring Mrs. Donovan to produce an audio-dub of her story: Broken Fragments. This project is a labor of love from us, and being the editor and overachiever I am, decided I wanted some of the best voices to bring these characters to life.

**LEAD ROLE:** Cold, calculating, and aloof. Father to the MC of the story. He will do whatever it takes to get what he wants in order to save his tribe. Even those he loves.

Play your part, and no one will. Get these fanciful delusions about consorting with other tribes out of your head. Our tribe is counting on us, Moonwatcher. You wouldn’t want to be the one to disappoint them.
I was under the impression you fought smart. The IceWings will be destroyed. They shall be ground into their precious snow and all the fight in them shall be beaten out. But all in good time, when I have what I need to make an informed decision.
**LEAD ROLE:** Our main character. She is very shy and soft spoken in the beginning, but eventually gains confidence in herself and remains loyal to her friends.
Yes, because I should completely trust a random voice that just pops into my head one day. Wow, thinking about it like that makes me sound insane.
No, I’m upset because you kept this from me. I asked you to tell me your story, to help me to trust you, and you kept the most important fact a secret. Again .
And I deserved not to know? You get to keep your biggest sin a secret? I warned you, Darkstalker. I told you what would happen if I found out you lied to me again.
**MINOR CHARACTER:** A brief appearance. Fathom is what's known as an animus (think of sorcerer) who imprisons one of the main characters within a mountain. A brief appearance, but important.
I mean … there are dragons that do bad things. But maybe that doesn't make them all bad. Maybe they can also do good things. Maybe some of those bad things are just mistakes.
I'm an animus. The rarest of all dragons. ME. I am special after all. I have magic like no other dragon in the Kingdom of the Sea. Except one.
The soul that I still have, I wish to keep. Queen Pearl of the SeaWings, I pledge you this oath, on my life and sealed with my blood: I will never use my animus magic again, not for the rest of my days.
**MINOR ROLE:** Side character, a motherly figure. Warrior.
I didn't steal him. I fell in love with him. And he loved me, too. That's the truth, although no IceWing has ever listened long enough to hear it before. We didn't mean to ruin everything. Or start a terrible war, or make two tribes hate each other for all eternity. We just wanted to be together.
I am the greatest warrior in our army. I am Captain of the Aerial Defence. The genes of the best NightWings in our history run through me. The program is everything to me. I can train them. You know I can.
**MINOR ROLE:** An aged female, and commanding officer of her army. Very stern and strict, no nonsense.
You're the only NightWing in the tribe who would do something this idiotic, and I had a feeling you'd catch the prince's eye. But I didn't think he was as big an idiot as you are
Young dragons are so useless. All I can say is you'd better have dragonets fast, Foeslayer. As many as possible, so our tribe can inherit animus magic and make this whole disaster worthwhile
Foeslayer, you are driving me mad. Either sit in a corner and read or help me pack. If I hear your claws squeaking back and forth on the ice one more time, I'll remove them and give them to the library as quills.
**MINOR ROLE:** The mother of Moonwatcher, and mate to Morrowseer. She is much like Moon herself, though still held back by the chains of her tribe. Looking for a warm, feminine voice. Preferably someone within the 30s - 40s range.
[ desperate ] Look at her, Morrowseer! She’s perfect, she’s healthy! Everything every other NightWing dragonet is not. If putting our daughter first meant you couldn’t know… I can live with that.
I should have kept her with me. I shouldn't have lied to my tribe. I only wanted to protect her from that island — from the smoke and the smell and the rules and the misery, and from the constant fear that the earth will swallow us in fire at any moment. And now she's gone. This is my punishment for deceiving everyone.
I'm your mother, little one. I'm going to call you Moonwatcher. You're going to have the happiest life any dragon has ever had, and you're going to live forever and ever, and the volcano will never have you.
