My name is Kenneth Vigue, author and narrator of this podcast. Growing up my grandmother would take me to the library in the town where I grew up every weekend. One fateful day, I ventured out of the children's room and headed up the massive Victorian staircase to the upstairs. I was awestruck by the 3 level open space, surrounded with balconies filled with books. In one cornered I wandered up to the very top level and found a dark and dusty corner room. It was filled floor to ceiling with records, which I had never seen before. I checked out "Lights Out: Murder Castle", a vintage radio horror. My voice is definitely on the higher pitched end of the scale though, so rumbling villains aren't really my strong point. Singing wise, I'm definitely a soprano, once again, low notes are something I struggle with but high notes are a breeze!

Life's been a wild ride, from the bright lights of LA to the peaceful Ozarks – a journey that's shaped me in unexpected ways. My Scottish heritage might explain my naturally low voice, a rich baritone that averages around 91Hz. (Perhaps that's where the appreciation for storytelling comes in!) Military service, healthcare experience, and battling cancer all instilled a deep gratitude for life's possibilities. And for over two decades, I've thrived in the performing arts, bringing characters to life on stage and through the power of voice acting.
