I've been doing voices all my life - to the point where my dad often said I should work for Disney (Yeah, I know it's a familiar story). I ended up taking a technical career path, but I still break out in song around the house, or in different character voices to annoy/entertain my kids. I'm here now because I have to be. I'm going to do it no matter what, so I might as well get better at it and make something of the talents I've been given.
