Character Voiceover
Payton for Omega
Omega is a "scary grandfather" figure with a Slavic accent - think of a more grounded, menacing version of Stefan Kapičić’s Colossus.
Note on the Accent: We are leaning into his thick pronunciation for comedic double-entendres. He should remain completely serious, but his delivery could occasionally turn phrases into accidental jokes.
He is a man of absolute authority who projects an image of someone who views his subjects as nothing more than tools (Although it is a persona and he does care for his people as will be evidenced later in the game). He doesn't need to shout to be heard - his power lies in a slow, heavy stillness that makes everyone in the room hold their breath.
His voice is low, gravelly, and rhythmically heavy, with distinctly rolled "R"s. When he speaks, imagine every word is a heavy stone you are placing firmly on a table.
For reference, aim for the toneless, ruthless authority of Senator Roark (Sin City) mixed with the disdainful, quiet elegance of Amahl Farouk (Legion). He should sound intimidating precisely because he doesn't try to sound intimidating.
Avoid typical "raging" anger. When he gets irritated, don't think "I am losing my temper." Instead, think "I am disappointed that this tool is broken and I have to throw it away." This makes his irritation feel cold, sharp, and inevitable.
The pressure should rise steadily until the final escalation. While the rest of his delivery is quiet and rhythmic, his final command - NOW!!! should be a sudden, barking jump-scare that shatters the silence and signals immediate danger.

We are losing the war and running out of materials to develop weapons. There’s only one way we can get materials without being in the enemy’s territory - we need you to go to space and gather ore for us!
You are ORE last hope! We’ve sent so many of our finest men, and nobody has returned!
Why are you still here? Put on your spacesuit and get to the spaceship NOW!!!
Hi Payton, thanks for the audition! It seems you've applied for the wrong character, but I actually found your voice intriguing for a different role. While I don't think you're quite right for the lead, I’d love to hear you read for Omega if you're open to it. :)
I would love to!!
I’ll get it recorded and send it over.
Hi again Payton! I just saw your comment and wanted to let you know that these roles have now been filled. I really value the time and effort people put into auditions, so I wanted to reach out before you started working on anything!
I've closed the casting for now, but please do follow the project. As we finalize more worlds and the game takes shape, there will definitely be more opportunities and I’d love to see your work then! :)
Thank you so much for reaching back out! I definitely will follow the project and I wish you all the best with it. Please do keep me in mind, I’d love to try again! Cheers!
