Dominique is a fun and happy kid. He’s 11, and quite short for his age. Hes almost never home, either at Kasim’s house or Mo’s. He’s very upbeat, and always full of energy, even when he’s sleep. Dominique is often interested in sleepovers, having one with his friends whenever he can. But his enthusiasm also makes him feel like a burden to others, like he’s got too much energy and he feels like some people just don’t like how he acts. But it doesn’t stop him from being kind. He’s a very supportive boy. Dominique gets along very well with Kris’s two friends, especially Miriam. She didn’t seem to care about his height when first meeting him, which felt pretty welcoming.

Everyone seems to get annoyed with me when I talk too much. But… not you guys. You were always accepting and welcoming when it came to me being myself. Thank you for that.
Hey, do you wanna have a sleepover? I can bring snacks. Ooh! And games! And blankets, or whatever you need, in case you don’t have a sleeping bag or something. That’s weird though, who’s never slept in a sleeping bag before? Wow. I sure couldn’t imagine that.
