Ah, it sounds like you’ve done commentary for games often. You sound very comfortable and natural performing the monologue!

And your enunciation is very good for the tongue twister too. If I had to nitpick on the tongue twister, I’d wish it could be read with the same level of liveliness as the monologue—and I only say this because we were just dipping our toes into adding more character to the tongue twister reads as of the last class and I’d gotten a comment on this. Edited this comment to add this: maybe you could have read the tongue twister after the monologue as an ad for French Freddy’s? That would have tied neatly.

Otherwise, very nice!

Oh this is great! I can tell you have experience in commentary with your emphasis on certain sentences. Great work!

It’s great to see how you're tapping into your personal experiences to bring authenticity to your performance. This personal touch can really bring the character to life, making your performance resonate more with listeners.

However, watch out for technical issues like clipping when your voice peaks. Adjusting your microphone setup or moderating your volume during particularly loud moments can help maintain a clear and consistent sound quality.

In terms of delivery, it seems like you might be anticipating the high-energy moments a bit too much. Remember, in a real conversation or situation, the excitement unfolds naturally—we don’t always know what’s coming next. Try to embrace the unpredictability of the scene. This can make your performance feel more spontaneous and genuine, enhancing the overall realism of your character.

Also, take care with pronunciation, especially with tricky names like "SilvianiS." Getting these right is crucial as mispronunciations can distract listeners from the story. A little extra practice on these tricky parts can make your overall performance smoother.

You’re doing a fantastic job of letting your genuine excitement shine through in your reads. Keep refining your technique and embracing the natural flow of the narrative. This balance of preparation and spontaneity will make your performances even more compelling and relatable.
