Ryder, full name being Rhys Derborough. Is an average teen with a fascination for music, he’s very impatient and often finds himself unable to relax as there’s so much he could be doing than just waiting. He’s a friendly and approachable guy and has an eagerness for the things he loves to do. 

Ryder is transgender so I would love for a transgender person to voice him!

  • (Internal monologue) "Most people don't have much to say about our town. It's pretty average, to be honest. Which is fitting for the people that live in it. Average people, leading average lives and doing average things...But not me. I plan to get out of here one day." 

  • (Talking to Lin, who is Ryder's best friend) "She keeps texting me, we're not even running late yet! Is this what our entire group project experience is going to be like? Getting spammed for endless hours...Well, if it gets us an A. I guess we can deal right?" 

  • (Improvise a couple of lines! I want to see you explore the character. There are no wrong answers here!)
