With the death of her father, the loss of her home, and the persistent disgrace Helgenish brought upon her while she worked at Sunshade, Primrose was forced to mature quickly. She takes it upon herself to enact revenge on the people who took her father's life. The only thing on her mind is vengeance, and she is willing to endure anything just to get leads on the men that ruined her life—from the jeers of the other dancers, the cat-calling of her customers, and the abuse and the dishonor Helgenish gives her on a daily basis.

Yusufa had described Primrose as a woman of few words, one that never discloses anything about herself. She acts aloof and distant from other people by locking up her true desires and feelings, for the sake of keeping up the act that pleased her previous master. However, Yusufa finds her likable either way. Primrose is also mentioned to be courageous and righteous, always standing up for Yusufa when no one else did. She was even bold enough to anger Helgenish by nearly escaping the tavern in pursuit of the man who bore the mark of the crow on his left arm.

Primrose is also noted to be a good actor. She would constantly put up the façade of an ignorant and obedient woman, when in truth she despised every moment she spent under the watchful eye of her employer. She has very good control over her emotions, rarely raising her voice even when she's feeling intense rage, although her emotional control still has its limits such as when Helgenish stabs Yusufa, her only friend during her days working for him. As Yusufa is dying, she tells Primrose that until then, she had never heard her (Primrose) shout. Above all else, Primrose is cunning and ruthless for the sake of searching for the men that killed her father but still has a kind enough heart to put the well-being of others before her own and to not willingly endanger innocent lives for the sake of her revenge.

Behind her aloof, seductive demeanour, Primrose is a very sad and lonely woman. The murder of her loving father left her with an empty feeling in her heart, and she notes to herself that the pain of the abuse she endures while working for Helgenish is nothing compared to the pain of losing him. Simeon, the man marked by the crow on his neck, eventually deduces (accurately) that Primrose's quest for vengeance against him and his two associates for killing her father, is really desperation to find peace from the loss she feels and the loneliness that comes with it. Simeon's chilling question as to whether Primrose felt any contentment when she killed his associates temporarily breaks her, as she realises that Simeon is right and avenging her father's death will do nothing to ease her suffering.

On the other hand, the suffering Primrose has endured in her life allows her to be more empathetic to the plights of others, as she is very kind and gentle to those who aren't targets of her anger despite being slow to socialize. She shows a more relaxed and playful side during much of her Travel Banter with the party, flirting with them in jest. As such, she seems to open up much more easily around those she considers friends. Over the course of her journey with the other travelers, she comes to the realization that she is not alone anymore, and that having companions gives her strength and courage.

  • [through narration] "Watch over me, Father... That day, I swore revenge against the men who took you from me. The three marked by the crow. My once-proud house fallen, I left home far behind, following their trail. ...That trail has led me here. I heard one of them often passes through here on his travels. It was the smalled scrap of hope--but it was all I had. Until I find him, there is no disgrace I will not endure. Losing my honor is nothing compared to the pain of losing you. Father...I will not stop until I find the three and see justice served. And until I avenge you... I will dance."

  • "Thank you, Yusufa. But there's no need for you to make foes on my behalf."

  • [seductively/flirty to Well-heeled Gentleman] "Admit it, now. Wouldn't you care to spend a little more time with me?"
