Zombie plus

Project Overview

The auditons are for the main character during a zombie apocalype.

It's done for a chat app that is an interactive story. The main character, Cassie, communicates with the player using a Whatsapp style messenger, sending mostly text messages, audio messages and photos (not required from actor).

It's like a choose your own adventure style story or interactive fiction, but multimedia.

It's set during a zombie apocalype in about the worse place that can happen: Hong Kong.

The main character is a backpacker from Texas, who travels all over the world and makes a living as a mountain climbing instructor. She's hopefully likeable,  so the player doesn't keep trying to get her killed. Each time she dies there's a particularly dramatic audio message, in case the player likes getting her killed.

This is a paid gig, and if chosen there will be multiple messages to record.

  •  (Weakly) Hey...so I don't think I'll be needing your services anymore.

    (Pause)

The phones running out of batteries...And...I can't recharge it. Just wanted to leave you one last message. Where ever you are...I...

    (Coughs/ groan of pain)

...Thank you. Thanks phone dude. Whoever you are....Do me a favor and try not to forget me yeah? Goodbye. Take care.

  • SCREW YOU MAN! YOU THINK this is just a GAME? This is my life. THIS WAS MY LIFE.

(Groan of pain) THIS WAS MY LIFE. A plague on ALL YOUR FREAKIN HOUSES.

  • This view is insane! Weird to be so high up on a slab of concrete instead of like... wait...one sec...there's something happening below.

    (pause)

There's a massive crowd downstairs. Wow. The whole roads covered in people. It's like the all buildings emptied out. Maybe the curfew's finally over. No, I don't think so. There's still police. They are at both ends of the street, with like gas masks...shields...jesus...full on riot gear. The crowd doesn't look friendly. It's like a mob is forming. Actually, it might really be a mob. This isn't going to end well.
