YouTube's Best Personality

All those tv-show competitions (like Idol for example) where the judges say over and over to bad contestants that "unfortunately this is no personality competition", made me want to host an actual personality competition. I haven't really seen that around, and I enjoy hosting contests. I think it would be fun, I hope you think so too! And since it doesn't really require that much of a talent, anyone can join.







Before each episode, the contestants will be given a theme to talk about, either in a video or sound file. I will show each entry in an episode, give feedback to each contestant, and, based on who left the least good impression, eliminate one in every episode until the winner remains. There will only be one judge (me) so you shouldn't take this too seriously. ;) After all, this can only be based on subjective criteria. Depending on the amount of contestants, and if there is interest for it, there may even be a group assignment at some point, where you will work with each other! So this may also be a way to make some new contacts!







There are no specific rules for how the style of your entries should be, but you will probably get the best result if you are just being yourself. If you can be funny, go for humor! Or if you can be inspiring or exciting, go for that! It's really the most interesting person who will win, and you can be interesting in different ways.







You audition by uploading your first entry! The first theme is a presentation. Present yourself and try to catch the listeners' interest :) Maximum length: 1 minute. You may upload it here or email it to [redacted] or upload it to youtube and send me the link. If it is not a video file, please also send a picture that I can use in the episodes. (A picture of you or something to represent you. If you don't own it, please cite the source.) And of course, you must agree that I am allowed to use all of your files in my youtube clips.
