This voiceover will be used in an animated web video to promote naps during the workplace. I'd like the voice to sound upbeat and happy, but not corny and overly-excited.

-->It’s
no secret that Americans are sleep deprived. We’ve become a working society,
putting our physical and mental health on the back burner, but does working more
hours necessarily equate to being more productive at work? Surprisingly, it’s
quite the contrary. Employee’s performance and safety suffer when they’re overworked.
So how do we solve this problem? We need to nap at work. Sounds crazy, right?
Well, biologically, our bodies are programmed for two periods of intense sleep:
once around 2-4am and again around 1-3pm. It’s no wonder we are feeling that
midday drowsiness that keeps us constantly checking the clock. Studies show
that a 10 to 20 minute nap can enhance creativity and reaction time, as well as
lower mistake frequency. Napping can also prevent burnout. Clearly, a short nap
is the answer to all our wishes, but we still need to convince our bosses to
adopt a napping routine in the workplace. We’ve created a campaign called SleepIsForTheWeek
to help start the conversation with employers about their company incorporating
a mid-day nap. On Monday, March 17th, also known as National Nap
Day, we went to New York’s most popular attraction: Central Park. Here, we
fastened sleep masks that read “SleepIsForTheWeek” to every statue with a sign
next to them that explains the benefits of napping at work. The sign encourages
viewers to share images and hashtag #SleepIsForTheWeek to spread awareness
about our nation’s sleep deprivation. Additionally, we created an Instagram
sticker so users can photograph themselves or a friend wearing the mask and
share it to their story. With every post, comment and like, we hope to reach
the managers and CEO’s to persuade them to adopt a “siesta” model that will
benefit both the company and the
employees. For more information and ways to get your company involved, go to
