Yes, I'm fine, really! - Sims 2 mini comedy series
Project Overview
It's a series of short episodes called « Yes, I'm fine, really ! ». The title is pretty ironic considering
it's about Rhys, a 23 year old who is seriously depressed but will not admit she is. Her depression
having a huge impact on her life, she just failed her final year of college, which lead her to making a
stupid decision that got her in a hospital bed. The story will be about her coming to terms with her
illness, and meeting new people along the way. Such as Adam, a boy who's even more f*cked up
than she is, if that's a thing.

Your local friendly super chill and easygoing drug dealer. She talks a bit like the drugs melted her
brain, not super slow but she definitely takes her time. She's not a vilain, she's actually kinda Rhys's
friend. Laughs at everything, especially when it's not funny. You might not know her, but she's
directly inspired from Shayla from Mr Robot, look her up if you can.
(laughing) Oh stop it you idiot.
(friendly) What are you doing here? Haven't seen you in a while !
(just chil) No way I was going to pass on some rich kids party.
They might look clean and shit but boy do they like to get fucked up.
Like seriously, I've been here an hour I'm already almost out of stuff !
(shruggy tone) I don't know, to be honest. Some painkiller thingy ? But look, it's pink and so pretty !
She's a stronghead, like you can't tell her anything. Which is a huge problem when it comes to her
depression, she doesn't wanna hear about it, for her eveyrthing is peachy and everyone is
overreacting. They are not. It's bad, like reeeeally bad. Her solution is self medicating, which is not
a very smart thing to do.
She's really passive agressive, talks like she doesn't want to talk, is really low energy all the time
and is always ready to be a smartass. Sarcastic idiot. Mumbles a lot, yells a lot, just a pain in the
ass, but in a funny way, it's not her fault after all, it's just the depression talking. She speaks in a
very monotonous way, almost like she's bored with everything, which makes her sounds and look
unfriendly. She is also the Queen of Drama, like you wouldn't believe.
(mad she got woken up/sleepy) God damn it Avery I'm sleeping, stop blowing my phone up !
(trying to regain composure/lying her face off) Wh-What ? No yeah, I was- I was just reading the details but yeah, graduation it is. Yay.
(angry/salty/rambling/also a bit drunk) Oh who cares this is all bullshit anyways, why do I care about a stupid fucking business degree I HATE business anyway it's dumb and and – I don't – I don't wanna be walking around in a suit costing as much as my rent, I don't – I don't even CARE Asher !
Avery is a really cool girl, eveybody likes her. She's also very focused and doesn't like when people
waste her time. She's always smiling, the polar opposite of Rhys. Very lighthearthed and full of joy.
But also has no chill, she will wreck you if you mess with her. She doesn't judge Rhys for being the
way she is, she accepts it even if she doesn't always get it.
(sighing) Why – why are you the worst person ever ?
(exasperated/angry) No really, I wanna know, because all I asked you wad to do ONE thing and- Why Rhys, WHY!
(shrieking/happy)Oh my GOD, fucking YES, ohgodohgod like for real ?! You're not messing with me are you ?!
(with empathy) Aw.
(with absolutly no empathy) Well take some Advil and get better because we have a party to attend to.
Asher is Rhys's boyfriend. He knows she's depressed, he's trying to make her seek help, but given
that she is a brickwall, he just gets more and more frustrated, which shows in the way he deals with
her. He's not very patient anymore, tends to snap at her, because he doesn't know what to do
anymore. But he cares, a lot. Too much even. He's not mean just to be mean, it's because he's
running out of ways to handle Rhys.
(confused and quite scared to be honest) Okay, that's uh, that's a lot of wine you're drinking there, you wanna like, uh, put the bottle down ?
(just observing, but also judging the f outta Rhys) You emptied that bottle reeeaaaally fast dude.
(losing patience) Nothing I haven't said a million times before.
(arguing) How long do you think I'm going to take your bullshit Rhys ? Exactly how long do you think I have left in me for all your shit?
(hurt laugh) Okay, waw. I'm – yeah, I'm gonna go now. You get back to me when you're ready to get better.
