Lindsey White's best friend, she is a cheerful young girl who is always by Lindsey's side and always protecting her. She has a medium-high sweet voice. She has a very expressive personality, and it should show in her voice. She is bubbly and excitable.
"Hey, Lin. Linnnnnnn. Lindsey! Wake up!" [Not too loud]
"Thinking about him again, huh?" [Poking Fun, Teasing, Casual]
"There’s always next time, I guess…!"[Supportive, Casual]
Rhys is protege pianist, but a sub-par student, and a bit of a Tsudere. He can be a bit cold to people he doesn't know or dislikes, but once someone gets to know him he is very kind and charming. His voice is medium-high.
"Do you think I can talk to you after class?" [Whisper, Casual]
"Awesome! How about we meet up after school?" [Psyched, Casual]
"Back for another semester, I see… Can’t get over these charming good looks, eh?" [Charming, Flirting, Casual]
Iva is an antagonist of the show, she is obsessed with Rhys. She should appear cold and even bitchy, Imagine a typical teenage high school queen. She is admired by her peers for her beauty and charm. Her voice is -Medium, with a snarky undertone.
"Oh! There you are! Just the girl I was looking for! I wanted to ask you something." [Cheerful, Casual]
"You can quit it with the cute girl act. Unlike Rhys, I can see right through it." [Rude, Snob, Bitchy]
*Smug Giggle* I'd stay away from Rhys if I were you... Unless, of course, you want me to tell him your little secret... [Smug]
Ms. Ika is a boisterous young teacher who often gets in spats with Mr.Sharpe. She is very protective of Lindsey White as her student, but has high expectations of her. Her voice should be mature sounding, but still carry a lot of energy and emotion.
"Ms. White, Ms. Gaines… Is this something you’d like to share with the rest of the class?" [Serious]
"*Sigh* I understand that you’re new to my class Ms. White, however, please refrain from bringing bad habits from other classes into mine in the future. That includes talking. Understand?" [Serious, Irritated]
In that case, don’t worry so much. Just focus on your studies. *Quick Pause* “Mr.Shark” and I have this under control. [Kind, Casual to Condescending, In response to Mr.Sharpe]
Mr, Sharpe is a musical teacher with sharp wit and a sharp tongue. He often gets into spats with Ms. Ika. He has high expectations of all his students, especially those with promise. His voice is medium, and mature with a certain clarity and sharpness to it.
"Alright class, now let’s get started with today’s lesson. Today, we are moving on from the basics onto more difficult subjects, as described in the lesson plan I gave you last week. This week we will be learning about how an instrumental can affect the writing of your piece. I will be assessing you on this in two weeks." [Serious, Calm]
' “Mr. Shark”?' [Irritated, Casual, Curious]
"I could hardly pass that chance up, “Ms. Squid”. Given the fact you stole my lunch from the teachers lounge..." [Casual, Saracstic, Condescending, In response to Mrs. Ika]
Other/Minor/Extras will be determined from your auditions for Lead and Supporting roles. If you are not given a Lead or Supporting role, you may be cast as a Other role, a Minor, or an Extra. Other roles include undisclosed roles with may be a Support or Lead role later on in the series. I have several of these roles already written. Minor roles include Male/Female Students, Teachers, Family, Friends, etc. Extras are background characters that appear in one or two episodes.
*Will be determined by auditions provided for Lead or Supportive Roles, by auditioning, you are instantly enrolling as an other/minor/extra as well, so you can be a part of the project!*
