Synopsis:
" It’s Christmas day, and Barry Allen can’t help but feel blue over a relationship... He recounts their journey 3 Years ago to reflect on what should’ve been a happy ending, but in doing so Barry rediscovers his passion in life, in this two part story. "

Barry Allen is a young adult with a golden heart. Constantly trying to do the right thing even when it can only end up ruining his personal life. He's a science nerd and was constantly bullied back in High school, going into college he's become the Flash and as such has been given a large boost in his confidence. He's light hearted and upbeat to an extent. He'll keep his troubles on the inside with a bright exterior. He's much more calm and should have a very normal and average voice.
the Flash should be treated as if the two characters were separate, the Flash is Barry's true self, and as such he's much more Snarky and Sarcastic when it comes to quipping at his enemies. He can't seem to shut up, and can annoy most of his enemies and even allies. His voice should sound stoic in times and be generally heroic almost as if he's trying to sound more heroic than he is.
Barry Allen: “Oh- Right! It’s nice to meet you Doctor Ivo… I’ve really been looking forward to this meeting I mean I’ve studied all about you, your research into Meta-Human Biometric identification is amazing, not to mention the fact that you’re trying to apply certain Metabolic and Regenerative abilities into medicine-”
[ Speaking to someone he's looked up to in the Science community, almost as if a young aspiring scientist were talking to an Elon Musk.]
The Flash: “-So Killer Moth right? You’re a long way from Gotham you know!”
Killer Moth gets back up, quickly shooting some kind of Goo Gun at the Flash, before flying off.
The Flash would dodge back, and go around it running up the wall to follow him...
The Flash: “I mean to come to Central City! You do know this is uh… kinda my City right?”
Killer Moth flees, ignoring his banter, before the Flash leaps off the wall like a Gymnast, latching onto Killer Moths wing pack.
The Flash (Cont’d): “By the by, I gotta say- these wings are amazing! I mean you’re totally flying! Well, hovering… Meh, same thing.”
Killer Moth: “Idiot! You’re going to weigh us both down!”
The Flash: “Oh- I’M going to weigh us down? This coming from the overweight, 40 something year old- right.”
Killer Moth begins to pick up his speed, flying faster and faster
The Flash: “Ok- Ok! Maybe you CAN fly!”
The Flash, still riding on the Villain's back, is being thrown by the wind...
The Flash: “You know, this may sound ironic coming from me… but you think you can slow this thing down a bit?!”
The Camera would cut to the Flash’s view, he sees something interesting...
The Flash: “So, correct me if i’m wrong but uh- those lil Antenna things look pretty important!”
Killer Moth: “Wait- No Don’t!--”
The Flash interrupts him by snatching the Antennae, destroying them from Killer Moth's helmet…
Killer Moth: “Fool, that acted as the transmitter for my steering! You’ve doomed us both!”
The Flash: “Oh will you PLEASE stop being such a drama queen?”
The Flash grabs onto the wings, manually steering him into the ground
The Flash: “Now that- is what we call grounding the bird. Er- insect. Whatever you're supposed to be, I don’t feel like wasting a good joke on you Moth-man.”
(Police Sirens can be heard rushing in from the distance)
The Flash (Cont’d): “Well, whatever! the Police are comin’ and i’m goin’!”
Barry Allen: “Well of course you aren’t… you Don’t have the brains to be on his radar… and unlike you I’ve actually places to be Tony. So I’ll get out of your obnoxiously hair gelled way...”
[ In response to Tony Woodward, who is attempting to get on Barry's nerves, should be said in a mocking tone with sarcasm. Almost as if he's drawing from his humor as the Flash. ]
While only playing a Minor role in Part One, she'll appear much more prevalently in Part Two. Patty Spivot has a love and passion for science.
She should appear to be caring, and also have a very soft tone to her voice, she's a bright eyed College Student and will try to help anyone who looks like they need help.
(Barry leans against a Balcony railing, overlooking Central City. Behind him the party, and a large window separating him from them, behind two glass doors.
The Music is interrupted and stopped completely by the sound of a door opening.
The Music is replaced now with the Ambience of a busy city night…
As a soft voice disrupts the quiet night...)
[You are approaching a character who seems to be just looking out into the night sky with a beautiful city view, on a day of a Party he looks very sad. As such, there should be a softness to the tone, with slight concern. ]
“You know, for someone who’s in the middle of a welcome home party, you don’t look very happy.”
“Oh really? Not a big fan of the, (She'd shout the phrase) “Welcome Home!”? ” she’d Chuckle
Patty Spivot: “Now that, I can totally understand, I bet you wanted to come here and lay back in your bed and... I don’t know, reflect on actually being on your own for once?”
August will feel like a Minor side character at first only being shown to agree with Tony Woodward and act as a Lackey to the group. However after his Father is hospitalized and is visited by Barry Allen we are revealed to another side of him.
August Heart: “...Well. My Dad’s been helping me out with an apartment in Downtown, and well... he thought that maybe having a roommate around to help pay the rent and y’know… help be a bit of a good influence would be a good idea.”
[Speaking to Barry Allen and offering him a place as roommate.] (This should be genuine, and feel like a heart to heart after Barry Allen visited August and his Father in the hospital.)
August Heart: “I know we’ve never really been close but, well… This means a lot to me, you coming here.”
[Barry Allen is visiting August and his Father in the hospital, much to August' shock.] (Should sound genuinely heartfelt and unexpected)
August Heart: “Knock it off Tony, Barry’s… well he’s actually a pretty good guy.”
[This is in response to a friend who was mocking Barry Allen... after visiting him and his father in the hospital.] (He should sound annoyed, or even stoic as he now see's that Barry Allen is actually just misunderstood in his actions.)
Nora Allen is the mother of Barry Allen, she's loving and caring and very trusting. After the death of her husband Henry Allen she's almost felt empty and focused on raising Barry and making sure he grows into a good man. While also trying to release him into the world as an adult. She should have a softer tone of voice.
Nora Allen: “I don’t want you to put your life on pause because of me. And I know your father wouldn’t want you to either…”
Nora Allen: “Don’t forget, you’re my responsibility too, Barry. And that means letting you go free on your own when you’re ready, as much as it pains me to do so.”
Nora Allen: “Good, we’ve lingered for so long on the past… but now it’s time for us to start looking forward to everything the world has to offer us.”
While having only a minor role in this film, in Part Two he will be much more prevalent.
While first appearing as a Stereotypical bully character, he should be rude, and almost have a mocking tone with every word he says.
Tony Woodward: “Hey Hey-- would you look who it is! Central Cities' very own wallflower, How’s it hangin’ Allen?”
(Saying it Mockingly to Barry Allen, should have a rather rude tone to it.)
Tony Woodward: (Annoyed) “Allen? That know it all, dude has everything- the smarts- heck maybe even the looks- and all he does is be a stuck up jerk off!”
(Would be said in a more upset tone, in a reply to another character.)
Tony Woodward: “(Laughing) Ha-Ha! , Maybe you should be the one in a hospital bed August- looks like you must’ve taken a hit to the noggin!”
Anthony Ivo is a Scientist, and will resemble a more toned down version of the Stereotypical Mad Scientist. Where as here he is the "Reluctant Mad Scientist" He is the leader in the field of Robotics and the Meta-Human gene expert as such he is looked up to by Barry Allen. He should sound stoic, and be more reassuring in times of panic and desperation.
Doctor Ivo: (Laughingly) “Ha-ha! So you really have done your research! -- Not as “easily distracted” as Professor Wells said you are, I see.”
Doctor Ivo: “I’m sorry Mr Allen, I must cut the interview short, get yourself to safety at once young man!”
Doctor Ivo: (Panicking) “God almighty, Hurry and find the Computer to override his systems and locate the source of the-”
Professor Wells is Barry Allens professor at Central City University, only a minor character in this film he is fair to an extent. Cares enough about his students to give them second chances but is still stern.
Professor Wells: “-Mr. Allen. If you’d like to pass this class you need to actually put in the effort to do so. Part of that means actually attending the first 47 minutes of Class.”
Professor Wells: “Sorry, Mr. Allen- But trying isn’t good enough. The last assignment before Fall break is coming, I expect your report before next class. I’m sorry, but I’ve given you all the time you need.”
Professor Wells: “Best of luck son, Ivo is a personal friend of mine. If you don’t do your research, I WILL have to fail you.”
He should sound like an over the top villain with an annoying voice, think the Classic Cobra Commander, or even Star Scream if you will.
Killer Moth: (Annoyed) “Idiot! You’re going to weigh us both down!”
Killer Moth: “Wait- No Don’t!--”
Killer Moth: “Fool, that acted as the transmitter for my steering! You’ve doomed us both!”
A Stoic character with a dark secret, Jorge Heart is the father of August Heart and as such will not play a major role in Part One. He deeply cares about his fellow Officers and will do anything to keep them and the city safe.
Officer Jorge Heart: “It’s alright- just stay calm!”
Officer Jorge Heart: “We need to move - this thing is gonna slaughter us!”
Iris West is a cheery yet cynical girl, and soon to be Journalist. This is reflected in her personality as she see's the world much differently than others.
Though, she will only have a brief cameo in Part One of the Flash she will play a much more Prominent role in future films.
Iris West: “Oh, my Dad just thought I should stop by… say Hi to you and Barry.”
Iris West: “Oh that’s alright… I’ve still got some settling in to do back at my own place, I guess I’ll have to catch him next time.”
the Receptionist should be welcoming and cheery, with that professional attitude that most receptionists have.
Receptionist 1: “Hello! Welcome to Ivo Labs… can I help you sir?”
Receptionist 1: “THAT is a highly advanced Meta-Human response Drone. Made with cutting edge technology- This way please- “
Receptionist 1: “We can head through here Mr. Allen i’m sure Doctor. Ivo is waiting on you!”
A Worker at Ivo Labs, they seem to be working on the AMAZO drone, most of their lines should indicate Panic and distress.
Ivo Scientist #1: “Doctor Ivo! There seems to be some kind of Malfunction in the main lab!”
Ivo Scientist #1: “I’m not sure there was an unstable reaction in the Drones Meta-Human biometric scanner!”
