When The Stars Align - An Undertale Voice Acted Audiobook

Welcome! This is a beginner friendly project made for beginners! I made this for people who want to get into voice acting (who also love undertale) so they can get experience!
[UPDATE] I shortened the timeline of this project by a lot, sorry, but I have a lot of auditions already and I need to start soon while I still have time! So this closes tonight! EST
This is for fun! I cannot stress that enough!
Experienced VAs and Adults should maybe find another project because this might not be what you're looking for.
This is very low stakes! The finished product will be posted on a video that can only be accessed through a link the link will only be put in the Quotev story so people can listen along!

I didn't make the cover image and sadly I could not for the life of me find who did.
It isn't going to be animated, so it will come out faster! I'm hoping that the first two chapters will be posted by at latest the end of September!

Keep in mind that everyone is learning here including me! The writing isn't Shakespeare and I'm not sure if we can finish all of the chapters I want to do, but we will definitely do at least the 7 already written chapters!
There is a discord server for the project so if you have discord please put it in your audition. However you don't need to have discord to audition! There are chats right here on Casting Call that will work just as well so don't sweat it!
I am a teenager and a lot of the people in the project probably are too and so please be patient and appropriate on here and on Discord.

Frisk uses in sign language for most of the story but you'll be narrating the sign language.
Frisk isn't a human of many words so there's not a ton of long lines.
Frisk is the protagonist so they're a pretty main role.
In this story they are AFAB but actually Nonbinary, so you can do a feminine or androgynous sounding voice. a non-binary person is someone who does not identify as exclusively a man or a woman.
Frisk is 9 years old, so they should sound young, but a teenage sounding voice totally works too.

(trying to come up with a lie) "I had a... (Pause) nightmare about... flowey."
(inner monologue) "Oh yeah! The world RESET at least 50 times! I killed you and everyone in the underground multiple times! Just to see what would happen! Oh! I almost forgot! Your dead child lives in my head and speaks to me as a soulless ghost! Something is WRONG with me! I'm messed up! I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM?!"
Chara lives inside Frisk's mind, they act similarly to Flowey except for the fact that they have share a tiny piece of Frisk's soul, so they can have compassion and feelings. It's just very muffled.
Chara is Agender in this story, Agender is a term used to describe someone who identifies as having no gender.
Chara can only be heard by and seen by Frisk, they can go back into Frisk's mind or choose to be visible and float around Frisk. Think like XChara from Underverse.
Chara talks very old-fashioned (they probably got it from Toriel), no conjunctions (example, you're, I'm, it's,) no shortened words like 'kinda, ok, yall,' Their town is usually flat and straight to the point, unless they're toying with Frisk, then they're playfully rude.
Chara is 11 in this story so a child or teen voice works fine.

Sans stays pretty much the same in this story.

Sans doesn't have a very big role yet but he has a couple of lines! He should have more in the future.
I headcannon Sans as Transmasc, that shouldn't change how you voice him but I thought it was important to include.
Transmasc is a term that can apply to anyone who was assigned female at birth (afab) and identifies somewhere on the masc spectrum

Papyrus is essentially just cannon Papyrus, except that in this story Papyrus is neurodivergent, but that doesn't get brought up too much.
If you have a headcannon voice for Papyrus, just use that! Or, watch the Revtrosity SALOT! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yO8IH00dSTQ The only thing I will say is that Papyrus is LOUD. Just keep that in mind :)

Toriel is the same as in Undertale in this story.
Toriel is a meduim sized role, not too many lines and not too little.
If you have a headcannon voice for Toriel, just use that! But if you don't, think a gentle, even, motherly voice. I don't feel to strongly about how Toriel's voice sounds so make it your own!

Asgore is just undertale Asgore!
Asgore is a very small part but if you get cast, you will also get to voice background characters!
If you have a headcannon voice for Asgore, just use that! If you don't have a voice in your head, Asgore is a deep male voice, he is a very kind, and wise sounding.

Mrs Sarah is similar to Toriel, basically her human counterpart.
Sarah is a medium sized role!
Sarah is not only simmilar to Toriel, but they talk simmilarly too, so do a caring, motherly voice, but you can add your own spin on it!
