He is temperamental and hot blooded, but at the same time he's also indecisive. He gets shy around girls easily... He is the sort of character you would find in the lead role of a love story.
As a matter of course, he's not very honest about himself. And of course, he's also quite popular with the girls.
Unfortunately this isn't a love story, so his personality won't do him much good. Quite the opposite, in fact...

Sans is a short skeleton with a dimpled smile and large orbits. He wears an unzipped blue hoodie, a white t-shirt/sweater, black shorts with white stripes, and a pair of sneakers/slippers. He has white pupils that disappear when he is serious or angry. When Sans uses telekinesis, his left eye flashes light blue and yellow, the colors for patience and justice, and his right pupil disappears.

However, behind her innocent exterior lies a personality that loves setting traps for other people. You could call her a trickster. She tries her utmost to snare Keiichi, but she has only limited success.
Although the result of failure is easily imaginable, Satoko doesn't like to lose, and she doesn't learn from experience. That is why she keeps confronting him, with all due consequences.
Even when she realizes her skills are insufficient, her smile never wavers.

Chie is the teacher for Keiichi and his friends' class, the only one in the entire school. She cares very much about her students.

Rika is a grade lower than Keiichi, and thus is a classmate of Satoko's.
She is very quiet and reserved for her age, which makes her almost the polar opposite of Satoko. However, the two of them can often be found in each other's company.
Whenever Satoko is in tears after losing against Keiichi, it is Rika who cheers her up. When Satoko wins, Rika comforts Keiichi instead. When Keiichi teases Rena, Rika comforts her.
In fact, Rika comforts whomever is in need of comfort.
She seems happy with it.

The true identity of Oyashiro-sama. She is a female god that appears in Minagoroshi-hen and beyond. Hanyū's past is shrouded in mystery, but she has referred to herself as a human who became a god after she was sacrificed at a true Watanagashi ceremony centuries past to atone for the sins of others. Hanyū is invisible for the majority of the characters. She is a sort of guardian angel to Furude Rika, whom she has followed since birth. In fact, Rika is the first person to be able to see her even though Hanyū has been in the village of Hinamizawa for centuries since her death. As such, Hanyū regards Rika as her one and only friend despite the abuse she endures from Rika occasionally.

Beatrice is the Golden and Endless Witch, and the primary antagonist of the series for the first four games. She is affectionately referred to as "Beato" (ベアト) starting in Banquet of the Golden Witch.

A witch who has lived for over a thousand years, she is said to appear as a cloud of golden butterflies, and has the power to summon higher demons among the 72 pillars to serve her. It is said that humans can summon her to have their wishes granted in exchange for compensation, though she often acts whimsically. She is the one rumored to have given Kinzo ten tons of gold and served under him as the alchemic advisor to the Ushiromiya family.
