Webtoons Comic Dub: I Love Yoo
Project Overview
Hi there! I'm working on a dub for the Webtoon "I Love Yoo" *go read it if you haven't https://www.webtoons.com/en/romance/i-love-yoo/list?title_no=986
I need voice actors to help out, and anyone can join if your microphone works with little to no background noise!
- You will need:
- 1. Time on your hands. I'll let you know when I need recordings on Discord. SPEAKING of which!
- 2. HAVE A DISCORD! This is the most important thing! If you don't have one, make one PLEASE!
- 3. Make sure you actually LIKE this Webtoon! If you don't, what's the point?
- 4. Like I said, a microphone with good quality that I can edit if theres some background noise! A good microphone is the Snowball or Yeti, but if you have a condenser mic that is PERFECT!

Yoo is kinda an introvert who's sister was taken from her when she was young. She has kinda a tragic backstory, and does everything she can to help her dad. She
s the main character so prepare to have a lot of lines!
*slightly sad* I wanted to make friends...but they all pushed me away...
*struggling* So you're going....to the hospital...whether you like it or not! ..dang you're heavy..

This is for when the current Yoo has other IRL situations (which she has a lot of) and cant deliver for a while. (read the desc of the normal Yoo for details about the character if you need them)

This is Nol's brother, Kousuke. He's the "prouder sibling" and high authority at Hirahara Corporation. He acts in a very serious tone most of the time.
*talking about Yoo* Are you trying to insult me? You think I associate with the likes of HER?
*almost falling for a prank from Yoo* YOU CAN'T FOOL ME! YOU'RE THE FATASS FROM THE PARTY!
*very serious tone* Look me in the eye...you better not be lying about all this!
Maya is one of Yoo's best (and only) friends. She's normally always cheerful and supportive!
That was way too harsh! The poor guy! You could have at least let him down nicely!
By the way, if the college thing doesn't work out, you can always become a housewife.

Rika, along with Maya, is one of Yoo's best friends. She's also usually cheerful, yet a bit less supportive at times (as you can see by the lines above)
Shin-ae, I don't think that's going to work. First of all, they deal with plenty of creeps, second, you need to watch what you're eating to maintain good shape, and third...you're lacking on some..departments.
I don't know if there are people who would pay for flat strippers..
It's for this party the company my dad works for throws every year. It's masquerade themed, this year. You wanna come? Maya's gonna be there.
(Note, you dont HAVE to do a German accent, but if you can it'd be great!) Dieter is part of Yeong-gi's friend group along with Soushi. He is also friends with Maya, Rika and eventually Yoo. He has a crush on Yoo, but she rejected him so he's really shy about it. His personality is overall shy to begin with.

Soushi is a part of Yeong-gi's friend group, along with Dieter. He's pretty normal, the lines will be able to define his personality..and his face.

Megan is Alyssa Cho's older sister, and she is OBSESSED with Kousuke. She is also very hyper most of the time, and can be annoying to pretty much every character. Her voice should have LOTS of energy to it, and be a bit whiny when she's disappointed. When you reach the final line, make sure there's still the bit of whiney voice but not AS obvious, since it's a serious line.
Hmm, where is my precious Kousuke? I feel like we've searched the entirety of this area. Please don't tell me we're going in circles? I've seen this chair 5 times!!!!

This is Kousuke and Yeong-Gi's father, and he is VERY serious about the Hirahara company. Think of him as the dark businessman.
