~~Webtoon Dub!~~ Let's Play! (VOICE ACTORS)
Project Overview
Hi there! I'm Nova! Above is a video I did of the Webtoon I Love Yoo, which I edited myself! I did 2 videos of an I Love Yoo dub before deciding "THAT'S NOT FUN ENOUGH TO EDIT!" (It was very tedious and boring.) Sooooo I am now, based on popular vote, doing a dub of the AMAZING Webtoon "Let's Play!" This Webtoon is created by the amazing Mongie, who happily gave me permission to dub this Webtoon!
It revolves around a game developer named Sam who uploaded her first ever indie game to a website called Indigineer, where eventually a famous lets-player named Marshall finds it. Marshall plays the game wrong, and makes the assumption the game was made poorly. Taking this the wrong way, his fans go to the site and give the game bad reviews, ruining Sam's reputation AND her chances of ever making it bigger. Eventually, the odds fall further out of her favor as Marshall moves right next door to Sam, unknowingly. Hilarity ensues.
Before I go further, I just want to say that if you have NOT read this Webtoon yet, please go and do so before auditioning. It will make a lot more sense if you have already read it! It's currently on episode 45, so catch up while you still can!
ALRIGHT, RULES!
1. Have good mic quality! Little to no background noise, little to no echo, etc!
2. Have Discord! This is how I will be taking lines and contacting you!
3. Once again, you should have read AT LEAST a few episodes of the Webtoon, although I'd prefer if you watched it all.
4. Respect other voice actors! If you have a problem with someone else that gets casted, settle it outside of the Discord we will be using!
I won't be looking for a very SPECIFIC voice for these characters, as it's all up to interpretation! This is why you should go read the Webtoon before auditioning, so you have a good thought on how the character should sound!

Sam Young is the protagonist. She should have a mature-ish voice to her, even though she isn't mature all the time. She's also a bit nerdy often.
(Happy, feeling nostalgic)) When I was little, I fell in love with gaming. The genre never mattered. The thought of playing a hero, or solving a puzzle awed my young mind.
Okay, okay! Calm down Bowser! Be careful or you'll trip me! Just let me lock the door first.
(Shocked) H-How is this even possible!? 18 million people in this city and I had to run into him!? My luck couldn't get any worse!... I-IT GOT WORSE!!!
This is and should sound like the stereotypical let's-player: Hyperactive, full of words, yet can be serious when needed. I'm looking for a medium tone, possibly deep.
(the "admit it" attitude) Alright....that minotaur was TOO tough for me! Mistakes were made. I admit it. Even IF I beat that minotaur, I STILL don't know how to escape the maze!
There are a few goblin chodes over here. I'll use this wooden sword to gank 'em. HAVE AT YOU!....Um....problem? (acting in pain) OWWWW that's a lot of sharp objects in tender places! I think it's safe to say this is the end of the mini-lawman!
(more serious talk) Before I end this video, if the developer of this game watches this...I understand you said this is your first game, but it is currently NOT playable like this!
My life would be easier with someone able to do dog noises be....well doing dog noises. (Remember, this should be a HIGH pitched dog, as Bowser is the smollest most adorable puppo on the planet)
Make as many dog noises as you can make!
Link is (I think) the love interest of the story (not sure, I'll have to wait till next Tuesday oof.) He is a paramedic and he has a crush on Sam. I imagine him with a deep "bro" voice, but I'll see what you've got!
I don't know who is stealing all the toilet paper, but their reign of terror must come to an end.

Dee is the coffee shop owner who appears every episode and then, and is friends with Sam, Link and...pretty much all of the characters. She is black, so I do need an African-American or at least someone that can sound African-American to voice her :)
Sam? Bowser? You uh....you doing alright?

Angela is my personal favourite character. She's basically Undyne from Undertale, but way more fabulous. I like to imagine her with a very tough and loud voice, possibly a bit of a rasp.
(FORKING INTENSE!) YOU'VE BEEN CRYING! WHO?! WHO MADE YOU CRY!? I WILL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM!!!
(Singy voice, calm) Dee!~ Link!~ Angela needs caffeine, BADLY!!
(Calm)I see....no wonder you're upset. (WOOPS BACK TO ANGRY!!) DAMN THAT MARSHALL LAW! I'M GONNA KICK HIS ASS!!
VIKKI IS SO PRECIOUS I LOVE VIKKI!!! *ahem* So Vikki is a very soft soul, I like to imagine her with a medium soft voice. I especially like it being a bit of a whisper, but not so much that it is almost inaudible. However, feel free to surprise me
Oh Sam, darling! Don't cry! Vikki and Angela are here. Everything is going to be just fine. No more tears.
Assault would be...unwise. *pause* Though it is true he did play Ruminate incorrectly, is was Marshall Law's FANS that took action against Sam.
Miss Whipple is the landlady of Sam's apartment (and by that logic, Marshall's.) She is a lovable old lady, and I imagine her with the stereotypical old-lady voice!
(Same voice, yet somewhat sinister sounding) There isn't some sort of conflict between two of my precious tenants, is there??
(Very "flattered") Ohohoh my, so charming!! *laughing*
Cameras? Microphones? You aren't filming something naughty on my property, are you Mr. Law?.... Oh well that's a shame! Hehe!
