We Are Orlando [Tribute Song]

Hey guys!

So for those of you who are unaware (I assume that's not many of you), there was a recent tragedy that took place in Orlando, Florida. A gunman decided to go and shoot up an LGBT nightclub. He killed over 50 people, and left another over 50 injured.

The actions of this man are terrible. They left a lot of people without a family member, partner, child...But in the face of adversity, I decided to make a tribute song for the people of Orlando, and the LGBT community as a whole.

I'm not a part of the LGBT community, but I feel that ther plight is not one that they alone must bear.

So I wrote this lyric change of 21 Guns from the musical version of Green Day's American Idiot, but I need singers.

Before you audition, keep this in mind...I intend for this to be a video. That means that if I cast you, I'd like for you to record yourself singing the song on video. I will take the recieved videos and put them together in the final product so that everyone sings a bit of the song at different times.

It's not necessary to film yourself singing if you end up in the final product, but it's very much preferred. It doesn't have to be super duper high quality (a phone video will do) but if you show your face, I'd apprecate it.

But for the audition, audio only is fine.

What I want for you to do is to sing a portion of the original lyrics from the musical version of 21 Guns. I will provide links to the original song and a karaoke at the end. Whether you choose to use the karaoke with your audition is up to you. All I need is to be able to hear your voices.

You may also email your audition to [redacted] if that's what you choose to do.

Please at least have decent mic quality. I understand that the message is what matters, but if you can't hear the words underneath the static or pops from a cheap microphone, then the meaning gets lost.
