We Are Broken Re-Casting

Project Overview

Hello everyone, so some of you may remember seeing this project open a while back and I, unfortunately, have to recast some of the voice actors. 


The project is a Sims 2 Voice Over Series titles "We Are Broken" and follows Rachel Parker as she enters a new school and soon becomes friends with Emma, a quiet girl  who seems to be a bit of a pushover, and Sarah, a friendly and energetic girl who is determines to recruit Rachel into her click.
As the story develops, Emma tells Rachel a secret that changes everything.

I don't want to give too much of the plot away but if you have any questions please feel free to ask! I won't bite unless threatened.

I'm still new to this whole Voice Over game, so I provided the first episode of the series so you guys can see what type of video quality you're signing up for. (But I'm improving, I swear!) The first episode is slow, and the second episode will be two because it's all set up. But I promise that the story line picks up a bit and it's not just a bunch of teenagers hanging out at school.

I don't expect anyone to match the voice of the old VA's, just do your best to portray the character as given.

Peter's much like Emma he's very reserved and shy. Peter has a major crush on Emma that is obvious to everyone, including Emma. But she doesn't acknowledge this fact.
When Peter is around her, or even talking about her in some instances, he starts to get fluster and stutter, but when she's not around he is able to speak naturally.

  • “(flustered) Oh--oh hi, Emma. Fancy seeing you here. I mean, of course you’d be here because of school and you have great attendance and all...but you’re usually not here now. N--not that I would know where you would be, right now, anyway. And...ah...um, who’s this?”


  • (calm) "You don't have to tell me what's bugging you...just know that I'll be here when you need me. I... I like you Emma. A lot. And...if you could just give me a chance...I promise that I can make you happy."

Sarah is very friendly towards Rachel and is determined to help her get use to life at Emerson High by introducing Rachel to all of her friends. She is very social to everyone with the exception of Emma. Prior to the events of the series there were rumors the Emma was hitting on Sarah's boyfriend, Conner, and because of it Sarah does her best to avoid any type of contact with her.

  • “Oh, you must be the new girl. I should have known. Rachel Parker, right? I know everyone who goes to this school. Perks of being the Office Aid.”

  • “Oh, don’t worry. The party is Friday night. You can still hang with your brother on your actual birthday. Besides, it’ll be a chance for you to meet a whole bunch of people and make some friends.”

Voice: Preferable high

Sasha is one of Sarah's friends and usually only seen around her. She is, for the most part, very sweet and kind. Doesn't like Emma because of the rumors around school.
