    About Warshipz in Spaaace!


    This is an audition for a simple tactical space sim game that I am currently working on. This game is a hobby at this point and I am currently in the early stages of development (coding and creating menu and the user interface, along with placeholder resources), so this will unfortunately be an unpaid position for now.

    However, the VA chosen will get a working, digital copy of every build of the game for Windows.

    There is only one role available, but a handful of roles might become available in the future.


    I'm just adding a little more info on the game, which I neglected to include the first time around. Sorry about that!

    This is a 2D, topdown space strategy sim game. As mentioned before, there are currently no plans to release this game commercially, as it's more of a pet project. Sadly enough, this means that any VA picked for a role in this game will not get paid, as the game has no budget to speak of. I feel like I can't stress this enough.

    Every VA will, however, receive every build of the game available, right up to the finalized version of the game. What you do with your copy of the game is entirely up to you.

    IF, however, the game does end up going commercial, each person (including the people recruited here) will get a piece of revenue for each copy sold in return for their contribution. But again, this is only a what if scenario and there are currently no plans for commercial release later down the line.

    With that out of the way, the game is still in a very early alpha stage. Meaning that I am still in the prototyping phase, where I'm putting together all the graphical and coding elements for the game. Creating resources and seeing what sticks and doesn't, that kind of stuff. Hence why roles are becoming more readily available as development of WiS (Warshipz in Spaaace!) continues along.

    Do keep in mind that this all VERY early material. Everything in this folder is subject to change. For example, the 2D sprites (which have been crafted by me) are simply placeholders for the time being, as I have decided to use 2D renders of 3D ship models instead. That's why there is a gray (untextured) model of a ship in there, which itself is a work in progress.

    Video footage is currently not available, as the only thing functional is that main menu of the game, which I've taken a screencap of and put in that same folder.
