Voice Actress Needed for British Lead
Project Overview
I am in search of a voice actress to fill the role of Simi, a lass with a british accent. The voice is for a StarCraft: Brood War mod. Pays $10 for 39 lines. Character description, voice direction, sample audio, and script can be found in the role section. Auditions close by Wednesday, September 13th. This is a quick job, so expedience is important.
Please do not make any edits to your recordings beyond normalizing volume or removing background noise. The final sound files will be downsampled to 32k mono, but it doesn't matter what bitrate you send it in. .wav is the preferred file format.

One of the only gals in the band of rowdy space buccaneers known as Clan NTii, Simi has put up with her fair share of shenanigans on behalf of her clansmen, which culminated very recently in her imprisonment by military superpower known as the Natiunion. She's strong-willed and very loyal to her brothers-in-arms, and once the clan escapes and rebuilds, its sights are sure to be set on usurping the Natiunion - a quest that Simi will support to the end.
Simi's voice isn't needlessly loud or boisterous, as her feminine tone stands out enough amongst the din of her fellows to give her the attention she needs. That doesn't mean she's soft-spoken, either; she often sounds like a stern mother, hiding her genuine concern for her compatriots with a disappointing inflection and a heavy amount of eye-rolling, lest anyone accuse her of caring. A noticeable trace of dry humor often passes her lips, as her sarcastic wit lends will to her blasé persona.
In short, think of Emma Watson, with less of a 'proper lady' tone and more of a sarcastic one.
[surprised] Bloody hell, I could hear you wankers from all the way out here!
[uncertain] Who joins a wretched clan with only three members, anyways? We would be hard-pressed to find plonkers desperate enough to do that.
[thoughtful] "I suppose we could drop right on top of them and seize a base. It's risky, but with the head-start of having a pre-built base, we can take 'em by surprise."
