Vitality is 3-D animated student film that I'm currently producing for my senior project at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The story is about a medieval knight named Edmond who gets his heart stolen by a demon, and his son Lewis goes on a quest to take it back. This film will be very personal to me, and I want to dedicate it to my late father. I want find the best voice talent to bring my characters to life, and I hope to achieve that through CCC.Edmond has already been cast by an actor off-site, but I'm in need of two male voice actors for the Lewis and the Demon. The film takes place in Medieval England, so a British accent is definitely a must.Requirements:- British Accent- Must be able to deliver a believable performance- A clear microphone I have also provided an animatic for the film with subtitles for Lewis and the Demon.
Age: 16-18
Lewis is a young man who aspires to be a knight like his father, but doubts his capabilities. At first, he lacks confidence in himself. But when his father is put in danger, a sense of bravery instills within Lewis as he goes to face the demon.
In a forest by a nearby kingdom, Sir Edmond and his teenage son Lewis are seen sparring together. Lewis wants to become a knight just like his father, so Edmond is preparing him for the royal guard. During their duel, Edmond disarms Lewis of his sword and points his blade towards Lewis’ chest.
EDMOND:
(chuckles)
Your hands are getting slippery Lewis! You need some gloves?
LEWIS:
(sarcastically)
Daaad…
(sighs) Maybe I’m not good enough to be a knight like you.
(Angrily)
Show yourself, you coward! Give me back my father’s heart!
*Later on when Edmond gets his heart back*LEWIS:(ecstatically)Dad!
Lewis runs over and gives Edmond a hug.
LEWIS:(sobbing) I thought I lost you...
The demon is an evil creature who steals hearts for sustainability. He takes delight in taunting Lewis of his weaknesses, and uses his anger to lure him into his lair. The demon is manipulative and condescending, and his voice should reflect that.
How adorable. The boy thinks he’s his father by carrying his blade. Yet, he couldn’t even best him in a duel. Let alone save his life. (chuckles)
You know, of all the pathetic hearts I’ve reaped, I’ve never seen one quite as powerful as your father’s.
(Menacingly)
I think yours would make a lovely addition.
