Project Overview
Hello, everyone! I'm working on an animated movie called Bad Acting, where an actor will be fighting against copies of himself as roles he's played in the past. To advertise this idea, my husband suggested a call back to previews on the VHS. The video will introduce the characters that'll be featured in the film by advertising a box set of each movie they're meant come from. The set will be called "The Fivax Collection." I studied some old VHS previews online and I can't possibly pull this off without that classic announcer's voice so I'll primarily need someone who could sound just like him or at least come close to him. My husband plays Victor Fivax (the actor) so most of the voices are covered, but I would also like to have some variety. The ad will play all over the country, so it's important that the audio quality is really good. I appreciate everyone's cooperation and feel free to ask questions. My YouTube channel is Ami Scythe. Still Accepting Auditions
Might've been a miscommunication in latest update: I meant I would be listening to the auditions again. Anyone who wants to give these parts a shot are still able to. I just won't be listening to them as they come along as I have been for I have a lot of artwork to do. -

The film starts with Fivax crashing onto a movie set. I imagine the director being a short, chubby guy with a voice reminiscent to Joe Pesci, but a unique performance from any male or female is welcome.

This security guard is big, buff and preferably black. This role is meant to have a very deep voice, but not necessarily frightening. The guard is easygoing because Fivax is small and pathetic. He doesn't take the situation seriously and as a matter of fact thinks it's funny. So his lines should be done with a bit of a giggle or a grin.
(laughter)
