Project Overview
hi ! welcome to spring and a storm ( i know , clever name and tally hall reference. heheheh... ) ! this is a passion project , and so will not be paid.
i am looking for voice actors for said project , and art , editing , and sound will be handled by me !
what is spring and a storm ?
--
spring and a storm follows a curious young star named holoea ( andrew ). and though he was curious about other planets , he was most interested in what earth has in store.
mr. moon ( joe) , though hesitant ( and helluva lot terrified of a random star wandering about ) teaches the young holoea about the planet home to billions of human - kind.
discord is recommended , but we may work around this ! if you do have discord , your submission must have your username.
( p.s. please note that the cover image + va thumbnails are mere placeholders ! )
Voice Actor
a young , brightly shining star part of the auriga constellation.
he is a main role , asking questions to joe ( mr. moon ) , follow - up questions , etc.
holoea / andrew has always loved learning about his surroundings as a young star , and even more about the solar system; where earth and its neighboring planets reside.
andrew has a warm , breathy baritone vocal style with a quiet , reserved tone and a slight ( and very subtle ) lisp. incorporate that as much as possible !
( p.s. please note that i accept any gender , just as long as you sound similar ! thank you ! )

you know , i've never actually seen the people on earth before. are they really , reeaaally tiny ? because this planet is the size of my head.
oh, joey ! i'd love to learn more about all this ! i've been so curious , my head is about to explode from how curious i am !
( custom line ! this is optional , and you can simply do the first two lines. )
Voice Actor
the moon. it should be self - explanatory on who that is.
he is a main role , answering questions and giving information to both the viewer and holoea.
joe / mr. moon - seeming that he has been orbiting the earth for a while - knows a lot about everything. at least , everything about earth. and though hesitant , he enjoys teaching holoea the simple wonders of the earth he knows well.
joe has a full, clear speaking voice with a distinct midwest american accent and strong , pronounced "r" sounds. incorporate that as much as possible !
( p.s. please note that i accept any gender , just as long as you sound similar ! thank you ! )

earth is an oblate spheroid , which means it bulges out near the equator because it spins. but since it's easier to see earth as a regular sphere , it's more common to see that than it ' s true shape. and besides , it'd look a bit silly... don't you think ?
holoea ! you're back... hmm... you're quite the curious young star , aren ' t you ?
( custom line ! this is optional , and you can simply do the first two lines. )
Voice Actor
a desert - like rocky planet with a tenuous atmosphere that is primarily carbon dioxide.
he is a supporting character , appearing only to give extra information on the topic , and as well as answering questions.
mars , also known as ares has been hanging out with the earth for a bit now. and so , he too has a bit to say on the earth. he covers extra details , and goes off on his favorite topics even if they're not exactly related to the topic at hand.
rob cantor has a clear , articulate , and conversational voice with a smooth , medium - warm timbre. his voice somewhat similar to joe's , but softer. incorporate that as much as possible !

not only that , coral reefs are the largest living structures in the earth. and they look marvelous , too !
days on earth used to be much shorter when the planet formed billions of years ago. a day was only 6 hours , but it gradually increased to the usual 24 we know of today !

Voice Actor
this is for zubin and ross ! since their roles in the episodes aren ' t that big , i decided to merge the auditions instead. when you submit your audition , please list which one you're auditioning for.
zubin and ross are minor characters , only speaking a few lines in every episode. for this , say anything you want !
they're regular humans on earth. by the stellar object's ridiculous demands , they dress up in costumes , acting out as historical figures , scientists , or just regular people in necessary.
